darlin’, if by baby gro’s you mean onesies, then you’ll need more like 10 -12 initially. they spit up lots when they’re new and you don’t have the time or energy to run the wash then while figuring out everything else.
get 4-5 onesies in the newborn size, and at least 6 in the 0-3 months size. if they’re over 7lbs, newborn size won’t work for them so you can exchange them for 0-3 month ones later on, so keep the receipts. if they’re under, you’re good for a day or so and can send hubby out to buy more newborn onesies. it really is astonishing the amount of laundry a wee baby can generate!
for blankets, get a pack of receiving blankets. there are usually 3-4 in one pack and you can have backups on hand in case they get dirty, which they also do pretty quick.
