I'm not sure if its love Sagar bhai; atleast not yet. To be honest, I'm not sure what one feels when in love. I mean I've heard the cliche's but I think its just rhetoric.

My friends have suggested the same thing; but I'm not ready to proclaim, just yet, that I love her.

first you have to find out if this girl even likes you. have you ever talked to her directly? some girls give all guys the message that she likes him...but doesnt even like any of them if you've talked to her and sure u like her then I suppose its a good thing. but dont expect her to change cuz most people dont/cant change. you know they say we should love a person for who they are...not what we want them to be. you've liked her for 3 years and havent done anything about it yet? hmmmmm

Like I said earlier, I'm not sure if she likes me because I have no evidence. But she definitely knows of me and I think if I talked to her she would (inshAllah) think of me along those lines.

From all you have written about her, she seems like a fantastic person.

All people here are providing advice from YOUR perspective. This makes sense since you are a member here and not she. However, a good advice is the one that is a win-win for both parties, and not just you.

You have been here on Gupshup long enough and you have shared your thoughts on a variety of topics. I think you have given us enough insights into your thinking and mind-set. And unless you are completely schizophrenic with your real life totally opposite your online persona, I give you the following advice with utmost sincerity: Please leave her alone.

hehe; Faisal bhai my persona online is the same as it is in real life. My thoughts and feelings are exactly the same.

I can see your point about leaving her alone because of the heavy contrast between myself and her; but the thing is I have this feeling, I dunno why, that there is a possibility she could see things my way. This isn't based on anything; just a gut feeling I have.

And like I said earlier this may not become reality but Allah knows best.

sources can be unreliable. the only persons who would know are her closest friends...some times even they dont know.

Do you hyperventilate around her (her being a pretty girl) - cause maybe if you do, those looks could just be those of a concerned citizen. Baichara, jawaani mai he astma ka shikari ho gya etc, if you catch my drift. Or (sheeta/janvi/parveen - hes looking, no wait hes staring again, yes he's STILL STARING whatdo i DO what do i DO.. security..) <Those looks too are often lenghty and meaningful. Perhaps something was just lost in translation?

You need to get one of your friends e-mail, this thread to this girl who you are so enamoured with, they could tell her that you are shy or waiting for the right moment, plus the Shia/ Sunni factor has kept you from being too forward. Any girl with a heart has to respond one way or the other after reading what you are going through.

Sagar bhai; the problem is I don’t know if its the right time to intiate/begin the process. I want to become financially solidified before I make such a move. See the thing is, I’ve grown up in an environment where talking to girls or their phone calls coming at home are not looked upon nicely (for lack of a better term/phrase). And I personally feel that just “talking” with her without making a commitment is a waste of time. I want to be established and then reveal my feelings for her. Right now, I feel, is not the right time.

Also, (in addition to what I’ve written above) I’m kinda shy to talk to her .
