He may be a crook, but I thought his times were relatively better for Pakistan - that is until Kargil happened. If he had been in power when 9/11 happened, he would have been more forthright in his response. My opinion is corrupt civilian govt that works or seemingly working is better than similar Army rule. I would blame Pakstan's problems on two people - Zia and Musharaff.
Yes, good job of amir ul momineen treating a PIA plane as his personal property and land it in interior sindh, **** it that it could crash due to low fuel or perhaps the airport in god knows where in sindh might not actually be able to handle the plane.
I don't believe in military rules in Pakistan's case, but gunja got what he deserved. His way of dealing with musharraf was completely paindoo. OH wait, that is actually insulting paindoos so lets call it his barbarian ways.
PS I do have to admit that my family (and me) were slightly pro nawaz sharif back in his first term, but yeah he just lost it.
Every time he loses to be in power he looks a changed man, I've seen him few times already now :)
Not that you guys have much options. he is still better than current PPP and other small parties. when he come in, kiyani and My Lord will be gone and so will be obama. so he may actually get some liberty to do something.
