Surely, psyah...to give a child the proper amount of warmth along with the proper amount of adherence to following rules is the best. Moderation in everything is generally a great and golden rule of life to follow. Yet as parents, we can (in certain instances) be labelled as indulgent (ok, child was good so lets indulge the grocery store checkout request for candy bar) or parent is "neglectful"...ok mama is going to shower so i want you to behave and child gets into mischief. Each of these styles can be attributed to each parent at one time or another lol. The thing is to strive for the happy medium for the majority of the time.
