Hi I regularly visit the Nandos in Richmond Hill and know that it IS HALAL. I even saw the certificate and verified it with ISNA that the chicken from Maple Lodge Farms is Halal. The food is fantastic and always fresh!

Just wanted to confirm that the Nandos in Richmond Hill is HALAL. I met with the owner and also went on a tour of the supplier to be sure all the rumours are false about Nandos Chicken. I went to the slaughter house at Maple Lodge Farms and saw the operation. it is INDEED HALAL. Thankfully cause the chicken is GREAT and I am totally addicted to PERI PERI Chiken at Nandos Richmond HIll. I've been to all the locations and I found the food tastes best at Richmond Hill...the owner is always there and always makes sure that the food and service is awesome. All are good though I just like the Richmond Hill store best.

Nandos in Canada sucks... it tastes much better in Britain. I can't wait till November 10th when inshallah I shall experience Britain's Nando's again....

FYI there is a new eating place called "Chix to BBQ". Its Nando style food, but more arabic based. Its a good alternative. In 'sauga.
They are opening 3 more stores soon. I will be going there again next weekend with some friends.

When I was in London, Tooting, South West London's Nandoo was offering halal chicken. But I did not see this offer in rest of the London.

went there last night. good food. i ordered the BBQ kebab thing, though it was kinda short on the stuffing. the whole chicken was kinda tiny, but i guess for a student it can last a couple of meals. otherwise, it's a nice place.

the one i went to wasn't in sauga though. somewhere dtown
