The sauce u see in the commericals is haram. But they have a wide variety of other sauces that are Halal including Bar-b-Q, sweet and sour, etc.
The ribs and wings are Haram.
All the workers there are aware of the Halal and Haraam issues, so if u have any questions, u can ask the owner or the staff.

For people living in the north west of england ...tc nandos is hilaal and 2 others. But be careful I dont think the one in printworks manchester is.
Obviously, when I went back home to pak, the one on mm alam road in lahore is gna be hilaal and so is the one in karachi and dubai. Now canada & america, you are going to have to be careful in my view. Here in UK, we have some chains that are others that are not. Sometimes it entirely dpends on the area you are living in consists of a lot of desi's. HEHE lucky for me ...northwest of England is full of us :)
But yeah it is a nice place to eat ....:)

But like i said watch out ok. make sure it says that all our meat is 100% hilaal.

Went there yesterday at mavis and britannia after very long time. Didn't like it much though. I tried their half chicken with medium intensity and it was pheeekka. There is nothing unique about the chicken..it is boiled and grilled and thats about it. Next time maybe i should try something else? Has anyone tried their kebobs?
Our desi chicken tikka or Shish tawoq taste much better than Nandos :;)

Nandos in Toronto is terrible.
You people should try the Nandos in the UK, now THAT is yummy AND they give unlimited refills on the soft drinks.

dont know about canada, here in uk , not all nandoos are halal. they usually mention that on menu. with a star
i really like it. been to many in uk and in lahore one.
someone mentioned its south african chain, I guess its a Portgeeze thing. as their own chicken symbol has a whole history behind it.

nando’s is the best place to eat ..the food is not bland its depend on you ..you can make this spicy as well tell them that you want spicy ..if you are in UK there is place for halal Nando’s its in hounslow (halal)i had nando’s so many times and i liked it ..your hubby must like this food …you should take him there ..and enjoy food..

Its owned by a Pakistani Muslim. I'm pretty sure its Halal. I dunno if it has a sign or not.. I don't eat fast-food much.

I live in the UK and most Nandos here are not Halal, the ones that are Halal are marked with a star on their website. Plus they also have a HALAL certificate in the resturant stating that this resturant has Halal chicken. My advice is to ring and ask the place you want to go, its best not to assume. The food is lovely not english at all, go for medium-hot chicken with peri peri chips if you wants it more desi style. They also do corn on the cob which is well tasty! enjoy! my mother who hates english food loves it! we going on saturday...

I think not everything is halal there. When I used to visit the scarborough and other Toronto locations, I used to ask them if there is any items not halal and they usually used to readout a list for me. Coz the menu changes from time-to-time.
