after looking the zabihah website, i found out the nandos’ chicken is halal…does anyone know if its any good? its says its a portugese restaurnant, hows the food? spicy? or bland? i hate bland food…i wanna take my hubby here..my hubbys the kind of guy that hates new things, and “english” food…knowing this, would anyone recommend it to us? I love to try new places to eat…everytiem we go out to eat, its either a paki place, or a chinese place…or fast food…

there is a nandos chicken in karachi and they have some foreign fare here too. if its a branch of the same nandos then its probably halal.

There's one at Britannia and Mavis.. their chicken is great.. it's your choice how spicy you want it.. they have a few options..

There was Nandos’s Chicken in Scarborough long time ago by Brimely and Eglinton. We used to go there a lot. It was one of the best food we had in low price. Now some Chinese buffet took over that business. I’m not sure if any other Nandos are in Scarborough area. Could you please let me know the location of Missisuaga one?
Tell you hubby that until he doesn’t try new things how would he find out if what’s good or not? After all he had to try all things at first place, and then build his likes and dislikes based on his taste… including you…lol

mfs Nandos in Karachi and Missi are good in taste. Also try Bombay Bhel at Hwy10 and Eglinton for change. Not for food but bhelpuri, channa papri, pani puri, gol guppay etc.

hmmmm ..their sauce is the KEY “peri peri” unique taste!

Last year we had a guppie meet in London's Nando's. It was excellent!

i tried looking for that Peri Peri sauce but could not find it here....although my cousin said that it is sold in Karachi @ AGHA's.

I just LOVE Nando’s, I haven’t met a single person who dislikes Nando’s chicken so i see no reason why your husband won’t like it. It’s definitely worth trying and i m sure he will get addicted to it

Not all Nandos are halal. Out of the three in Birmingham, only one is halal, so ask teh restaurant before you visit. The food rocks tho, especially the spicy chicken in pitta with cheese and pinapple

their food was good...as a precaution: some of their sauces are very spicy..
bhoot ka baap, i purchased the peri peri sauce from their brampton location..it was $4.99 for a small bottle...and it didn't tasted the same as the one they served at the restaurant.

thats at mavia and brittania right? i work around there and thats where i was planning to go…everyone here on gupshup gave positive feedback..but when i asked one of my friends about it, she didnt like it at all…it was like swiss chalet (the one in richmond hill is halal)..but from what u guys are saying, heck, im goign to try it…tell me furqan, what do u recommed for 2 pple?

all i know is richmond hill..my cousins live there..dont know exact location
