Hi girls, I am getting married in end of July (Insha Allah). The function will be on small scale and I also want to look simple (but elegant) that day. I have chosen deep ivory wedding dress for me. This is a skirt lehnga with crystal work and maroon embroidery on it. Please suggest me which beauty salon (Lahore) will do best with the color. Pictures of dress are attached.

Yes pictures are not reflecting the true color, may be because of darkness in room. Secondly zircons are not shining as well. Yesterday, I finalized simple jewllery set from Afzal jeweller Liberty. I have given that set for changing stones colors. I'll post its picture as soon as I get it. I’ll soon visit madeeha’s and Depilex. Can someone tell me about Madeeha's location or phone number?

i dont have madihas phone number but i know where it is ....it is behind the Mcdonalds which is opposite to the College of Home Economice main boulliward gulberg lahore.....just enter the side road beside Mcdonalds go further, there is one collge there, after the college u will find madeehas there....

allenora is charging 16000 (annie wala package hai jis may annie will do ev.thing for me) and madeeha's contact no. is on their site www.madeehas.com .. good luck :)

Allenora charges 5000rs for a mini-shoot (about 25-30 pics) but i am not getting it done from her..i will get it done from Afzl's probably .. or shahnawaz (not decided yet)

and i heard madeeha charges 16000 (if her assistants do the make over) and 35000.. YES..35000 if madeeha does it herself ! i thought itnay ka tau aik chhota gold set aa jaye ga :P i still dont believe it but still i will visit her myself for confirming..allenora is no good if the assistants do the whole thingy and annie does the final 'touches' (in their language.hehe) but annie does wonders if she does the whole thingy.i went through many photoshoots and info from family and friends who have recently got married and i finally decided to get mine done from allenora..

i am not sure if 35000rs package includes photoshoot or not..photoshoot otherwise was for 8000 (bride only) and 15000 for couple until last december. i wonder if the camera has to put in more effort to sgoot a couple..therefore double the charges

I bought it ready made but it doesnt have any designer label. I bought it from Saleem Fabrics liberty. Thanks everyone for best wishes. I need them badly :)

it is a complete album that they decorate and deliver after a month or so .. and it has some enlarged pictures too.. about 40 pics or maybe more..

Girls, I am sorry I cant reply you on private message because I am required to have 50 posts before I can send a private message. But I m replying here :)

I bought my dress from Saleem Fabric Liberty Lahore and it costed me 35,000. They say they import dresses from India. As i needed a simple dress I selected this one from their party collection. Their bridal collection ranged from 85,000 to 1,25000 which neither i afford nor I was interested in.

Zaima, you sister looked very nice mash’allah.
I really think though that the colour/design you chose for your wedding is a personal choice. Apni apni pasand hoti hai.
I had decided way in advance that I wanted a traditional looking mehroon lehnga for my own wedding. WHy? Because that’s the dulhan look I grew up with. I don’t think there’s any color that suits a tradional desi bride better than red or mehroon (just like goray look good in white) ANyhow, while shopping I obviously saw a LOT of different color combinations but nothing atrracted me more than mehroon and so I went on a bought one!
Everyone has their own pasand, I don’t think you should go by what’s in and what’s out… go for what YOU feel good in
