Yeah thats what I think 2.. eyez get tired seeing the same colour .. can b beautifull but if u can change the colour .. then why not .. ?!? ;)

My sis married last year december in lahore, i’ll post some pics of her mehndi,baraat, walima lehnga etc.

first one is Mehndi, she was wearing a Laacha; With the colours; Yellow, Orange, And Parrot green, and with kaam on it and kind of coloured stones

Second one is Baraat, she was wearing a lehnga; Shocking pink with kinda Moove or Sea green

Third one is Walima, she was wearing a gharara; Yellow with Baby pink.

the baraat one looks very pretty! Do you have a bigger image of the valima one?
The mehndi outfit is cool :k:

Yeah my sis got the idea to be a real Punjaban, and the sfeer was like punjabis to, the waiters were dressed in punjabi to, that was really funny .. :D

well change is good of course -- but red and maroon for us have almost become the equivalent of white in the west, its traditional
but whats reallly nice is that we still have the flexibility and room for personal preferences

Hi girls,
I am getting married in end of July (Insha Allah). The function will be on small scale and I also want to look simple (but elegant) that day. I have chosen deep ivory wedding dress for me. This is a skirt lehnga with crystal work and maroon embroidery on it. Please suggest me which beauty salon (Lahore) will do best with the color. Pictures of dress are attached.

you can go to Madeeha's or Allenora's (both in gulberg) and see their photoshoot pics and decide..i have booked with allenora for my wedding.. i guess these are the best here.. or if you can 'afford' to get your make-over done by male beauticians,you can go to Ather Shehzad's studio..

Thanks prototype :). I bought my dress ready made; from Saleem Fabrics Liberty.

Can you please share how much Allenora is charging you for makeup and photo shoot if applicable? and can you please share Madeeha's phone number?

wow i luv ur dress fa127...its so different from the btraditional colours and designs...it has a simplistic look which speaks volumes and am sure will look lovely when u wear it.

I like the 2nd two sets. Very pretty and delicate! The beads sets are quite common in Pak these days. My cousins who got married over xmass wore blue and pink beaded jewelry for their weddings.
I also like the pink/blue lehnga on your cousin :Pretty:

It loooks pista green But yeah ,very pretty design , im sure ivory/maroon/gold combo is lovely
