Tell you what, your son will grow with this and will automatically develop other senses to make up for it. He will not even feel that he is missing something, it is only people who know that keep reminding us of our deficiencies.

As suspected, it's now been confirmed that Harris has Conductive Hearing Loss in his left ear caused by the constant ear infections he had while he was on chemo. I hope he gets better real soon Shahreen, he is definitely in our prayers. Allah tests the best of us. He will be running around full of health soon enough, inshAllah.
Update: Operation scheduled for friday was postphoned untill the 18th due to some concerns over Harris' cell counts. Fingers crossed that things stabilise over the next week inshahallah.

just returned from pak after 3 months ....so really had no idea about your ordeal

I know a lady who has similar problems with her baby - ear infections left and right, numerous visits to doc offices, operations u name it. It is Tough but hang in there and inshallah it will be all over soon!!
