My impressions of Pakistan have changed

Re: My impressions of Pakistan have changed

thats how.
funny thing is we still see that pattern in kashmir, i mean humiliating muslim women

Re: My impressions of Pakistan have changed

the real painful thing is that ..people here mostly are tose who are living abroad...and many of them even not born in pakistan...they have seen just indians in Gulf..and US and UK...where due to some similarities ..they come close to each other naturally....and start thinking that ....pakistan partition was a mistake of Jinnah..we could live happily with each other ..Jinnah divided us..lets unite toghether to make Greater India....

They are just ignorant people ..and dont know the deep insight of the whole situation....

If they will ever have to visit the Bandi Pura...Kulgaam...and interior occupied kashmirs ..they will themselves see the graves of 90,000 kashmiri people..the weeping kashmiri mothers ..whose sons and husbands have been ..in custody for 15 15 years ..but they cannot do anyhing....the raping of young and beautiful ..school going kashmiri girls ..by indoiian forces is a usual thing...torture cells..and other things...

All this is done because they want that right which Cunning Nehru made for them in UNO that it will kashmiries who will decide to which cuntry tey will go..or reamin as seperatists....

the people here have just enjoyed the luxuries of NY ..London and other cities..they have not heard the shouts of these mothers..they have not seen those raped girls..they have not seen those drilled bodies....

And when they have not experinced all these things..for them .Kashmir is just a land dispute between india and pakistan...they still raise the slogans of psuedo pak india friendship....

It is true that when someone gets a injury ..only then he knows what pain is...Here most Guppies and guppans ..have not saw all this ..so for hem..everythinbg is right and bright.....
In newspapers..we everyday ..read hundred's of death ..in accidents..wars..and other incidents..we dont bother about it..but when our some of the family memeber experince the death...then we realize that what is DEATH !!!!!

and same is the case here....they just dont know about the Kashmiries...just dance thier fingers in thier cozy rooms on the keyboard..enjoy coffee cups ..and thats all !!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: My impressions of Pakistan have changed

^ sigh
cold heart truth is after a certain number of deaths it just become a figure.

I had so many restless day and nite reading about kashmir back in the days.
You remind me all that yaar

Devine-light: the killings, rape & murder were equally vicious on both sides, Lahore & Amritsar were both getting complete trains with massacred people. And the stories you have mentioned, were exactly the same stories I heard.

Perhaps our elders in their hate, forgot to mention that the madness was equal on both sides.

You want to live in the past - so be it. I for one, say let’s move on.

Re: My impressions of Pakistan have changed

^^ totally wrong..drama ..and propaganda...

see any neutral writer book...and tell me facts and figures...

when tens of such trains reached Lahore..these was some lodshed of hindus in Rawalpindi..Lahore..and Kohat..and Peshawar.....

but it was nothing to the barbarianism of Sikhs in eastern punjab...where millions of muslims weerkilled..raped..and burnt....

border security force in every eefort kiled muslims and saved hindus and sikhs...

the anti hindu bloodshed was just the reaction of muslim bloodshed....

RSS...was all involved in it..headed by Patel.....

Master tara singh ..on 23 march,1947..at the gate of Punjab Assembly in lahore ...took his kirpan and said...on this division..now my kirpan will decide the pakistan...and his body gurad ..shouted...

Jo mangai ga pakistan..uus ko dai gai Qabristan....

your "innocency" cannot prove that it was "equal" on both sides....

even Hitler feels shames for what sikhs and hindus did with muslim women....burning thier private parts with acid..and pericng them with wood....

you cannot imagibe what was happened with muslims...

and belive me..we pakistanis have not forgotten all this....

the debt will be paiid back...soon..either in Ground of Pani pat..or in Ghazvai hind !!!!!

Re: My impressions of Pakistan have changed

:smack: all I asked for was whether there was/is a Pakistani Hindu on Gupshup and you give me this sales pitch for Rana Bhagwandas and pakistani Hindus.

Re: My impressions of Pakistan have changed

Ghazvai Hind?

Wrong!

Brother surely a man of your intellilect knows that Ghazva is a battle where the Prophet SAW took part! This cannot be such!

In any case my opinion is that both sides were propably guilty of doing inhumane things...by people who had their own political agendas!!! Hindus were barbaric yes...Muslims were no angels either!

Kashmir should have gone to pakistan under the ruling...In any case both sides will never let go of Kashmir...it should be then declared a neutral terrotory!

We should not hold on to hate!

Re: My impressions of Pakistan have changed

The question is, if someone ws not involved in the killings on either side and no say in the matter and wants to learn more about the other side and reach a hand of freindship what is wrong with that. While false perceptions can be corrected and real factors of why the wounds are so deep in teh psyche of the people explained, that should not stop from people trying to build bridges.

I dont think anyone is saying to just become some united India again, but that for the people we can not afford to continue fighting and drinking the koolaid being given to us for decades. Honor the ones who were massacred, those who went missing..condemn the powers that turned the migration of 1947 into one of the bloodiest times in our history.. but lets not use that as a reason to fight generation after generation.

Let that be a lesson that unchecked hate, brainwashing and lack of understanding each other plus jahalat leads to the displays that ashamed humanity in 1947.

And please no lecture on posting this while sitting in some comfy place in the west. My family lost people during migration, many went missing..i.e. were killed and the bodies never found. So lets not go there.

Re: My impressions of Pakistan have changed

well i am in India!!!! and i never met a Pakistani in person too!!

well, i will have to confess,my conception about Pak changed a lot after coming here. well,i always thught Pakistani galz wear burqa 24x7.and yes, during the initial days, there were like a thousand anti-Hindu,anti-India,anti-Dravid and even sometimes anti-Indian Muslim threads saying that Indian Muslim are licking the feets of Hindus and Sikhs in India to reamin alive and that they have become Hindus now...which is soo un-true. there are still a lot of Pakis here who really turn me off with thir ignorance and arrogance.a no post of Moin paaji goes without an India-bashing line, and how we are dark blah blah blah.
on the whole, i have found that Pakis are like Indians,if you are good to them, they are good,if you are bad to them, they are worst.
we have much in common, i think culture is above religion.
there are bad ppl on both the sides of the border.
the past is bitter, but then past is past, gone.
we are not thinking of a "Greater India". we would be contented to be friends only.
and please dont post the incidents that happened during the partition, sliced bellies of pregnant woman, rape, murder, eeww!!!!

Re: My impressions of Pakistan have changed

divine bete, thallay betho aur paani piyo thanda. And if fasting, donot fast during day time but after iftaar.

Re: My impressions of Pakistan have changed

divine-light stop being so bitter, what you say is true but it's Ramadan, Allah The Gracious says in the Holy Koran that it is better to forgive...

Let bygones be bygones...

Re: My impressions of Pakistan have changed

PS. I don't know why the Indians on here (even the nice ones) have a problem with burqa's!? It's a part of Islamic culture for some Muslims and you need to learn to respect that, if Muslim women want to wear it then good for them.

Re: My impressions of Pakistan have changed

Absolutely! No reason to not learn from history and forget it. No reason to forget Kashmir for a savage neighbour which obviously does not want to believe in basic human rights.

Re: My impressions of Pakistan have changed

Devine -light: there are several Hindus & Sikhs like yourself in India too, filled with rage & hate. Passing their anger/hate from generation to generation.

In WW1 & WW2 millions of Europeans were slaughtered - but today all of Europe has joined hands for a 'common market', perhaps we too have to do this, for the children of our children.

Re: My impressions of Pakistan have changed

Yes no harm living as good neighbours !

Re: My impressions of Pakistan have changed

You are right Chintoo. Poor Anil Khan does what he can, but he is no match for (banned) Islamabad.

Re: My impressions of Pakistan have changed
