Will my nextdoor neighbour attend my funeral?

i am sure many people will come to your wedding and God forbid, it turn in to a funeral. so there you go, you ll will have many people on your thanks giving.

Well in my childhood, there rarely used to be a death. Perhaps in even the mohallah, the number of death never increased one per year.
But now these days, hardly there is a month when I do not have to attend a funeral. And often I miss several funeral (being attended by someone else from the family) as it is not possible to take a leave from office.

The current population of Karachi is 13,000,000 out of this about 40% people are over 30 years of age. The figure comes to 5,200,000. These people will start dying after 25-30 years from now.

the only conclusion i can come up with this is that, is he going to die before you. so the same question goes to you, will you attend HIS funeral.

Attending Funeral makes one more aware of the fact that we all leave one day.
You should attend as many funerals, as possible. It strengthens your awareness of the day that you will be the one being carried away, never to return to this world, except the being resurrected on the Day of Judgement.

I think even in days like such, people do put more effort (out of heart) to come and attend funerals than weddings ..
It does happen that family members or ex-friends are on non-talking terms and wont invite to or attend the celebarations of other family ...
but if death happens, they put aside all the differences and be there ... for the grieving family

It's unfortunate, that some places where we reside such awareness is not possible. Back home, people would know who died and would attend in masses.
