would it matter if Sharaabi, juwaari, lugungay and corrupts how upi at my funeral cause those are the people whom I was associating with

or Pious, shareef, innocent people show up at mine cause they were part of my social circle

I'm thinking the best way to invite people is to have an email composed and timed for tomorrow. So if you are alive the next day you just delay it one more day. :)
In essence taking life one day at a time.

how does that change anything as far as you are concerned? you have passed on. how you behaved when you were alive can not be changed and your image in the eyes of those left behind has no effect on you.

It does matter .. if naik people showed up .. naik people are the one doing Dua-e-maghfirat for me vs sinners ...

chances of a pious person's dua getting accepted is higher ..

What i believe is that duas of a naik and sinful person is the same. What they do themselves just affect their ownselves, not their duas. So dua done by a drunk, liar, fornicating ******* would carry as much weight as a sharif, 5 times a day praying, honest person.

The values are changing fastly. There used to be a time when even far off places radios and tape recorders were turned off due to a funeral. These days majority of the people take the funeral as not more than a custom - talking in the cemetry and mobile phones ringing at the time of burial are common things.
