@Beeba123, you don’t have to like this other family if you don’t want to or can’t. Like some others have already said, you have zero obligation towards them. You did not invite them in your life neither did you ever make a promise to treat em nicely.
Yes it would be great if everyone got along with everyone else but we do not live in a perfect world. It should not be expected of you to make these people a part of your life.

thanks everyone for your contribution. Majority of the comments have been super helpful. Even just expressing all of these the last 2 days has lifted a weight off my shoulders I didn’t even know I had weighing so heavy.
I tried to make it clear but, I wasn’t looking to an apology or an answer. All people are human and make mistakes. It’s dealing with the aftermath that I find is my biggest struggle. I wasn’t looking for another persons analogy of what has already happened, but an external view on how to handle my emotions. But I feel I will find a way to deal with it iA.

While you are at bringing irrelevant issues, you can mention the average height, melanin skin content, average zinc levels etc but these remain irrelevant.
Typical of people who have no ability to think on their own is that all their arguments are based on analogies.

One would think being Canadian will give you better English comprehension skills, read again and try to answer. What happened to these above examples who cheated while married.
As for Tiger woods, man, do I have to mention everything which is obvious? In a divorce the wealthier of the spouse loses money, regardless of reason for divorce. A cheating man may get to gain from divorce if the woman is rich.

Mostly men make more than the women here and in majority of cases women get custody of children so they get child support payments. Divorce is also not considered a stigma for women here even if there are children involved. I have dealt with scores of divorcees where the woman already has someone new and better holding her hand before divorce is settled. Most of my childrens friends parents are divorced and it always seems like the second husband is better than the first.
We believe in giving people rights to make their own decision, if Clinton forgave her husband or if she made him pay horribly in private that is her own choice. Melania treats Donald as dirt.
If you are trying to compare a country which is rated as one of the worst place to be a woman to one which is one of the highest in women’s rights than good luck to you.
Let me tell you about what happened to Mr. Shah, he at 68 married a divorced woman in her 30s from Pak, she has 2 daughters. We had seen Mr. Shah being very rude to her and order her around as if she was a dog. One day Mr. Shah flung hot tea at her and she had, had enough and she called 911. Mr Shah was arrested, he got charged with assault with a weapon, he got kicked out of his own house and lost his job so this is what happens to men like him. His wife had the power to forgive and not forgive. BTW Shah gave incessant lectures about morality.
For fathers here who are cheats and are deadbeats they don’t get respect from children. We believe you are not worthy of respect if you cheat on your family.

So tell me un anecdotally what is your nternational rank in gender equality and also in being the best or worst place to be a woman. Wonder what humanitarian organisations were thinking when they didn’t name Canada to be the most dangerous place to be a woman? If there is 85 to 90 percent probability of a certain behavior is it still stereotyping and anecdotal?

Well all I have to say, is, if you get cheated upon and just become a cry baby, and can’t do anything other than that then you are loser. A person of substance whether a man or a woman should have enough going for him, to find better partner. Whether the laws are with them or not.

Humanity does give me empathy for the victims and I feel related by being a human, I know victim blaming is the core of the existence of misogynists. Selective empathy is hallmark of prejudiced people like you. There are plenty of decent, well meaning, humanist, woman rights advocates on gupshup, there is none other than you who is self desi loathing chauvinist. You have never come up with an original thought or an argument other than, here we do that. That’s so low of a man. Develop some substance. But then you haven’t really done anything other than selling stuff. Can’t expect much from you.

Now if people with your mindset were self loathing that would be so great for your part of the world, I only sell houses but the revenues provides jobs for hundreds and my taxes paid to settle the refugees here who feared getting raped and slaughtered by people who are so self loving that they think others should be raped and slaughtered.
