Why did you even put this question in front of these pious muslims who ask thier women to produce 4 witnesses to prove she was raped. who are hell bent to justify that Men are allowed to have 4 wives at the same time. Who are hell bent to justify beating thier wives for refusing, for whatever valid reason, to sleep with them. Who would fill thier kids head with hatred towards majority of the mankind(Non-Muslims). Who would kill thier daughters in the name of stupid honor and be proud of it. There is no need to get him converted into any religion. if you love him and he loves you, don`t even bother asking people who still live in 11th century.

Not to be rude or anything, but if he is converting just for your sake, and not for the sake of Allah & Islam itself, then the conversion may be invalid.
But that is up to Allah to decide.

I dont have a problem with any religion in fact you and people like you have problem with them selves. dont you have quran permitting you to have 4 wives and force women to produce 4 witnesses in order to prove that rape acually took place and punish her if she is unable to produce 4 male witnesses? isn`t it in the quran that male witness is considered more authentic than a woman????

We r permitted to have 4 wives, ever wondered why? Didn't think so, women r NOT suppose to produce 4 witnesses to prove rape and are NOT punished, four witnesses is to prove some1 has committed adultery...male witness testimony is worth more than women witness in financial transactions, no where else.

I think you should make sure he should not convert just to marry you. That would not be right. He should convert because of his understanding and commitment. This can in fact create problems. One of my Lahori friend had a good friendship with a German girl. She converted and told him clearly, I am not converting for you, I am converting because I feel Islam is the right path. She studied Islam and Christianity and then converted to Islam. My Lahori friend helped her understand the religion and thats how they got married.

thank you. u r right. now i wont mention anything abt conversion until he himself does. i wud only help him if he asks for it. i am not gonna volunteer anymore. if he wants to convert cuz of me then i wont call it a conversion. & if he really wants to convert cuz of god that he has to take the first step. he gotta make the effort.

To be honest.. I cant really type right now cuz ur post is making me laugh. You are right about the fact that the dude should convert only if he wants to. But in my oppinion you are wrong when you say that this religion divides human. Isnt that what all religions do?
As a matter of fact I wouldnt expect you to understand what I just said because since u called the Muslim society a potential terrorist society, it just goes to show how ignorant you really are. Learn urself first and practice it and in this way he'll learn too.

*this makes sense, that is also one of the ways he will come to know what islam is partly about. what you need to do is ask him.. why he wants to convert and for who's sake, if he knows nothing about islam... then what is making him convert to islam?? you need to sit him with some scholar and he needs to learn the basic fundamental principles of islam, then he needs to be asked if he really believes truly in his heart that this is correct. such as the concept of tawheed, if does want to revert back to islam then there are 7 conditions he has to accept, these are 7 conditions of faith, if he is willing to sincerly believe in this, testifies the oneness of Allah on his toungue and act like a muslim, then thats good first step, you should also start practising islaam, start of by leaving him for the sake of Allah, you should stop dating him right now and repent, if he does convert he will have to submit to Allahs laws too.. such as no more haram dating, praying salah, fasting ramadan, not drinking alcohol, eating pork etc. *

and lastly who said this **Sister, I suggest some serious scholarly advice for your situation**
i agree, there is islamqa dot com, you can ask the sheikh for some advice, browse through previously answered questions or just ask someone knowledgable for some good advice, maybe that might help i'A

if u see the division hindu, muslim, christain etc then inter religion like shia, sunni…there is only division in religion…they r killing eachother…plz dont say it is americas conspiracy..was it americas conspiracy when sunis killed husain in karbala…
and why conversion for a religion which kills practically women and gives no right to women…just take ..divorce..property…going out of home without known or relative…polygamy…if women raped ..she needs to bring four witnesses…as rapist will rape in the presence of four adult well reputable muslims…it is allowed to have ‘sex’ with captives without consent…kill people of different faith or non belivers..so where is tolerence…u can beat women(sheafgan rpeated quranic verse few day back in national assembly) if they dont agree…can a women do same thing if male is doing wrong?
still religions are good? they r v.few examples..is there any ‘sense’ other than blind faith?
