the muslim brotherhood learned a very harsh lesson gradualism and compromise with kuffar democracy is not going to work, over 80 years they waited for this opportunity and they found out when you play the dirty game of secular democracy and score a winning goal, instead of winning the trophy you get the red card and you get kicked out even illegally according to rules of democracy!

FYI, Turkey initiated military coup in 1960, 1971, 1980 and most recently in 1994 when erbakan and akp was ejected from power for being too muslim apparently.

But he was elected by people, hence people of Egypt wanted Islamic government. But it does not suit military general hence kicked out. If you are an Indian, why BJP which is purely a Hindu party was elected by people of India and ruled for many years, it was not secular. Modi, the killer of Muslims in Gujrat is another example. Same can be said for Jews who always elected staunch supporter of Judaism to rule their country. Why this has been denied in a Muslim country?

It was the Egyptian people who voted Morsi in and they too removed him because apparently he behaved like a dictator. The second dictator the Egyptian people had removed in a short time. I don't understand though what the West had to do with, if they had the power wouldn't they have kept the Western friendly despot called Mubarak??? Hoping for a clear answer.

There were countless thousands protesting Morsi. Even people who had supported Morsi, turned against him. The "secular" forces are in the majority then and they dont want him. Who are you to complain...
Morsi was deposed because he started behaving as a dictator, ignoring advice and trying to silence critics. If he had been smart, he would still be president.
How would you prefer to have your leader chosen? Do you think he will suddenly fall from heaven and onto his throne? The ulema can choose one on their own perhaps, but then who chooses the ulema?
