Re: Muslim women file a lawsuit for being forced to take off hijab
Wrong. No one here has stated any such thing! But let us not let facts get in the way!!

Re: Muslim women file a lawsuit for being forced to take off hijab
Right here in this thread, there are some ignorant comments directed towards an alternate lifestyle. Not surprised no one is protesting that.
Which brings me back to the statement - we need to fight bigotry when we see it. Rather than cook up charges of generalizing. When no such generalization was done.
Re: Muslim women file a lawsuit for being forced to take off hijab
Rotfl. The irony is too much. The language you have been using for me from the very first post you quoted of mine has been super defensive. Looks like I hit a nerve. You yourself are being quite bigoted right now but no worries, I condemn you.
Adios.
Re: Muslim women file a lawsuit for being forced to take off hijab
which facts are you talking about specifically?
whole of this thread is about why muslims (or others) are not protesting at bigotry against LGBT… and this, somehow is reflection on them…and insinuating that they are also bigots…
in short, unless they condemn bigotry exactly as you want them to…they are compliant…
now, to me…this seems like a bigoted expectation…

Even if you consider it pseudoscience now, please do read up on that and one day you may change your thinking.
Re: Muslim women file a lawsuit for being forced to take off hijab
Southie stop twisting my words to suit your needs, i know why your ass is on fire…Yes i do think that homosexuality is disgusting… but in that thread i did not call homosexuality “disgusting” at all . There the word disgusting was directed at the " liberal behaviour" of those muslims who defend homosexuality for xyz reasons, knowing that there are Quranic verses against it…If muslims in west think that western system is different n open…and they can not and should not speak against such sins openly in such open western societies…then silence is better than defending such sins… because there are clear quranic guidelines and you will be held accountable even if you “defend” something that Quran forbids… Just hate and oppose the sin in your heart…a muslim does not look good defending things that Quran forbids..that was my point…and naah this is not hypocrisy..
Coming back to the topic… i would say…in no way you can equate violence ( taking off someon’s headscatf ) with an “opinion” ( calling homosexuality disgusting ). It’s like comparing apples to banans to get desired results. Surely you can speak against burka, headscarf just like anyone can speak against homosexuality… but line is crossed when you “Force” others to do a thing in a certain way… when you force others to take off headscarfs… when you force others to adopt a certain way of lifestyle… You can only raise your voice against things you are concerned about…but violence? naah… hence your logic goes into dustbin.
Re: Muslim women file a lawsuit for being forced to take off hijab
So southie if you had a son that was gay what would u do? You wouldn’t be a slight bit mad and would you let him do gay marriage. If you say no then u r a hypocrite
Re: Muslim women file a lawsuit for being forced to take off hijab
Leash answer. There is no question of me letting him do anything. As an adult it is his choice.
I would be sad that he would have to face bigotry from close minded people. But I certainly would not blame him. I would place the blame squarely where it belongs
Re: Muslim women file a lawsuit for being forced to take off hijab
Prince - you called liberals who defend homosexuality disgusting. And you have repeated the same thing here. There is no twisting involved. That is bigotry - whether you want to accept it or not.
Simple
Re: Muslim women file a lawsuit for being forced to take off hijab
That was simply because this thread was about a bigoted statement by a person who happens to be a Muslim. There are plenty of deplorables who are Hindus and Christians - the far Right comes to mind for both these religions.
Thank you for your comment and giving me the opportunity to clarify. Kumbaya anyone?
Re: Muslim women file a lawsuit for being forced to take off hijab
In addition to comprehension issues, you need to work on understanding what bigotry means!!
Re: Muslim women file a lawsuit for being forced to take off hijab
Re what any religion forbids or does not forbid, if a religion forbids a certain lifestyle that has been shown to be inherent to a human being, that religion needs to be reformed. Using your own words, the “behavior” of “conservatives” who defend such concepts in any religion is disgusting. How does that grab ya?
Amd re “opinions” on homosexuality, or on any other topic, Hitlers opinions on Jews led to the holocaust. Bigoted people (such as those who condemn homosexuality based on what a religion teaches them) and their “opinions” are definitely not non violent. This is how people get put to death for blasphemy.
As for dustbin, your entire thought process on this belongs there.
And the bugger point- your post is evidence that such thoughts on LGBTQ are not isolated thoughts. They are institutional with the backing of religion. Just as disgusting opinions on caste is Hinduisms disgrace. I condemn that aspect of Hinduism. Are you willing to condemn this aspect of Islam? I pose the same question to those in the thread who were upset at my alleged generalizations. Which at the time I didn’t do. Now I pose this question.
Crickets?
Re: Muslim women file a lawsuit for being forced to take off hijab
Yes hiltlers opinions on Jews led to holocaut… and by calling others “bigot” you are doing the same thing … if i go by your logic…does it mean your opinion on people who speak against homosexuality would lead to another holocaust ? Why do you think your opinion is correct and mine plain wrong ? Is not it bigotry ? Calling an opinion bigotry is itself a bigotry… Simple.
Re: Muslim women file a lawsuit for being forced to take off hijab
Am glad eventually everyone agreed with what I was stating. I knew you will come around eventually.
Re: Muslim women file a lawsuit for being forced to take off hijab
Let’s say you come home one day late from work and you hear someone screaming a little b*tch upstairs. You go and check it out and turns out your son being pounded by his bf. Do you close the door and go to ur room or watch?
Re: Muslim women file a lawsuit for being forced to take off hijab
Lmao. Honestly, the jokes write themselves when you look at the responses in this thread.
Re: Muslim women file a lawsuit for being forced to take off hijab
You can self-congratulate yourself all you want but those who disagreed with you initially, still disagree with you. There is a whole spectrum of views against homosexuality. Painting everyone who opposes it with the same brush is wrong.
Re: Muslim women file a lawsuit for being forced to take off hijab
We meet in the chat room at 9 AM for a group hug. Coffee and samosas on the House.
Re: Muslim women file a lawsuit for being forced to take off hijab
You our called people who support homosexuality as DISGUSTING. And I called you out on that. And rightly so. Calling out bigoted comments is NOT bigotry. Only bigoted people would think otherwise!
It is common knowledge that kids who are gay or perceived to be gay are bullied. You did not simply offer an opinion on homosexuality. You used the word disgusting to describe those who support it. That is bigoted language. Used by the extreme right. Which has resulted in attacks on gays. So yes, hateful language does lead to instigation of violence.
Stop filling your heart with hate. That is the first step to being a good human being. There is no use following religious scriptures when you are filled with disgust for people who are just being themselves.
Re: Muslim women file a lawsuit for being forced to take off hijab
I consider many lifestyles “disgusting” as well, such as of those who are heroin addicts. But that doesn’t mean I don’t see them as victims as well and a product of bad circumstances and poor decisions. Nor do I feel like they’ve no right to live. They have right to live and should be helped to rehabilitate themselves because after all they are victims first.
