If a man take another woman, it doesn't mean he loves his primary any less. It's just she can't meet all his needs.
In cases where a wife has had a hysterectomy and can't sexually satisfy her husband, do you think it'd be fair to the husband to not seek outside help? Given the fact that both husband and wife want to stay in the marriage and love each other, this 'arrangement' in no way means less love for the wife. But that's an extreme example. Question is can a person (man or woman) fulfill all the needs?
And, please don't give me the kneejerk 'oh men can't satisfy a women's needs cuz men are inferior beings' pullova.

I don't think it's humanly possible for men to treat their wives equally.
And no, I wouldn't be okay with it.
PS: For those of you who say that it's okay if a husband takes a second wife if his first wife is barren -- the logic makes no sense. If the right to have children was the reason four wives are allowed (and I'm not certain that they are Islamically allowed) then women would have the same right to children, and be allowed multiple husbands.

NO. I'm sorry but I couldn't handle it. Yes it's his right but if he wanted other women why did he marry in me in the first place? I would walk out. Dunno about divorce because that would be in extreme cases but I know I wouldn't live with him or look at him if he took another woman. Ever.

I wouldnt marry someone who would have more than one wife. My fiance hates the idea of having more than one wife. he says "if a man has more than one wife...then whats the difference between a wife and a prostitute?"
If a man does marry more than once, he wouldnt truly love or be sincere with either one.
Islam ONLY allows it when the man can treat them eqaully....otherwise its not allowed. its IMPOSSIBLE for any man to treat both wives equally.....most people have trouble treating 2 of their kids equally ...let alone 2 wives (i dont think its humanly possible to treat 4 wives the same 24/7)
for example, if you buy a watermelon for one wife ....you HAVE TO buy it for the second wife too ...AND you have to make sure they are both sweet in taste. thats impossible for 99% of men....hence they are NOT allowed to marry more than once. ALL the guys ive seen who marry more than once, treat their wives UNEQUALLY **which is against Islam/the Quran....and thats something they will be **punished for in the hereafter.
here's the verse in the Quran which talks about marrying more than once:
**"marry women of your choice, two, three, or four,* but if you fear that you shall not be able to deal justly (with them), then only one…"(Surah al-Nisa, 3).***
I have just explained that its IMPOSSIBLE for a man to treat his wives equally....HENCE he is only allowed to marry once.

It'd be only impossible if a wife like Kiwi Fruit or Leechies. They are hard to find in Pakisan and that wife may have to make-do with falsay.

how will you spend time with them equally....down to a millisecond? you gonna keep a stopwatch with you? what if u get late in meeting one of them....you've taken her right away...by spending less time with her. trust me its impossible to treat them equally.
PS. there is the risk of sexually transmitted diseases spreading.
some men are finding it hard to get one wife....if one guy starts having 4 wives....what will the men do who dont even have one wife? its very selfish.
