Everyone knows they boycotted because they were in dire straits, and didnt have what it took to ‘win’ the elections. p.s. remember don farooq sattar in this elections narrowly won, infact he was one of those people who was feared to lose his seat along with shujaat, sherafghan etc until ‘nighttime’.
