What about a military operation under governor rule?
Since MQM Governor will remain in place, perhaps can control/convince military where to take operation and where not to take, particularity in areas where these criminals dominate and hide hard core criminals directly working under AH. They are capable of getting killed their own people who had changed their loyalties to show that mqm is also part of that operation. Examples of Azim Tariq and Imran Farooq show that these criminals can go to any extent.

An MQM spokesman would not want Altaf disappear from the scene. Nor would he want to agree that MQM has many terrorists in its ranks, including sectarian terrorists who are aligned with Sipahe Sahaba. There are other stuff I can mention about MQM. But while it is all true, the current situation is not the result of all that.
Every one knows how much despise I have for Taliban. But I did not mention Taliban here nor did I allege that Karachi's current situation is due to Taliban.
What I say is what I believe is the truth. Whether one likes it or not.

Both MQM and ANP are complaining that their workers are being picked up by police for no reason.
That may be true. But I think if the root cause of current situation of Karachi, PPP Sindh's Lyari gangsters, is addressed then such actions against MQM or ANP may be tolerated.

It is not just MQM wanting army’s deployment after what PPP Sindh government has done to the city. It is also religious personalities like Hasan Zafar Naqvi and Jamia Binoria folks. Every trade and business organization has also supported it. Even ANP supported it.
KARACHI, Aug 7: Trade and industry have urged Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah to immediately call upon Pakistan Army in Karachi for few weeks to control the law and order.
In case the army is not called upon the business community would have no choice but to close down their businesses if the current deterioration in law and order situation persists, industry leaders said.

what the traders are doing or asking does not absolves MQM .... rather they are just careful in not naming anyone....else they know the consequences .... and MQM as usual wants point scoring ....
hahaha. If traders think that MQM is responsible rather than PPP Sindhi government, yet are afraid of MQM, then why are they even SAYING anything in the first place?
Reality is that they have named PPP Sindhi government openly several times. I have quoted them in this thread. And I can quote them again if some prejudiced eyes skipped those posts.

MQM never had control of Lyari. So this is a ridiculous assertion.
And if this is merely a turf war between PPP's Lyari gangsters and MQM then why are traders supporting MQM's demand for army operation to stop extortion and killings based on it?

Errrrrr, where did I mention "Lyari"? Businessmen and everyone else is hoping that the operation will be carried out against all criminals which then includes MQM, they did not ask for army operation against everyone except MQM, you need to stop living in lala land.
