I don’t think that people necessarily just brush it off, just that some might think there are more important things to worry about than if the other person is a virgin for example..

Personally I was always more worried about the things which would impact our marriage and day-to-day life or how well we’d work as a couple.. Looking around me I didn’t exactly see married couples falling out because one or both happened not to be virgins before marriage, it was more financial problems or issues with inlaws, things like that so I chose to give those more importance..

Umm ok since we grew up in different countries, its understandable we think differently.

Nobody’s parents stay with them 24/7, its the values that parents instill in their kids that stops them from doing immoral acts.

No. It plays a part if you’re lucky enough to have parents who try to install morals upon you but it’s still an individual choice that you make as a human which constitutes your actions. It’s the reason why bad people (murderers, rapists etc) exist in families which emotionally supported them and gave them the best upbringing possible, yet that egg still turned out bad.
