My birth story:
I was sick of being pregnant. Was in so much pain and was 4 cm dilated at my last checkup … I was soooo ready for this baby to come!!! Couldn’t walk, couldn’t sleep, couldn’t even breath right 
Me and husband were watching a movie around midnight when I said, not seriously at all, that I wish my water would just break or something. A minute after I’d said that my water actually broke!!! 
So I started shaking for whatever reason … felt so cold! Called my doctor who told me to get to the hospital. Got our bags while husband picked our daughter up and put her in the car. We dropped her off at a cousins place, I honestly have never cried that much in my life as I did when we dropped her off 
So we got to the hospital, I was 5cm at that time. I was given pitocin and my contractions got really strong really fast!! So, I requested an epi … 
After that I slept for 3 hours And when I woke up me and husband were just sitting around talking about randoms … thats when I felt I needed to push. So I called the nurse in and she checked me and I was fully dilated and ready to push. I pushed for 5 mins!!! And baby was out 
Easiest thing ever. First thing baby did was pee on the nurse
He is a perfect little boy Mashallah and I’m in love with him already
ps. recovery has been a little harder … even though I only had one minor tear and needed only one stitch .. because of the position of the baby I had terrible back pain which I’m still recovering from ..

Mashallah wendy lovely birth story! I almost shed a tear when reading the part about leaving your daughter! Im in similar position but think my daughter is alot younger she will be 15 months at the time :( the thought of being without her i cant describe

hey girls, what do u suggest should i stop bfing my son? he's almost 10 months mA, he doesnt go to sleep until i feed him, every1 is suggesting that i stop it coz it will harm me n the 2nd baby...

my eldest was like that...I breast fed him 14 months and he wouldn't sleep unless he nursed...I had to wean him because we were starting out second round of fertility treatments. i starerd trying to stop nursing around 12 months and he was fine during the day with his sippy cup. bir nights were a problem. The only thing that worked for me was quitting cold turkey and letting him cry it out. It was 2 nights of agony but by the 3rd night he was asleep on his own and slept through the night. I usually am not in favor of the crying it out method but in this case I was at the end of my rope with a very dheet bacha!

sounds like my son, he still sleeps with us, cries his eyes out if i try putting him in his cot
Congrats Wendy! What have you named your baby? And your birth story is great mashallah. Sounds very peaceful and calm in comparison to mine!

I just did two home pregnancy tests this weekend and found out I'm pregnant. I have a doc's appointment in a few days so I can confirm! So excited. :-) If all is in order and things go well inshallah, the baby will come in November. It will be our first.

I was blessed wih a pretty baby girl on 1st of jan 2013 weighing at 3.8 kgs. I managed to deliver the baby without aby painmeds at all and honestly it wsnt bad alhumdulilah. My baby is two months and 8 days old now.
