Moms 2012- 2013

Re: Moms 2012- 2013

cucumbers sure are, being a green veggie anyway :k:
well you could have 2 large one too. Who would have stopped. Healthy eating is all matters in pregnancy, no?

Re: Moms 2012- 2013

lol. Cravings are so strange and weird. A lot of people on here nibble on multani matti :vivo: Well I guess I am one of very very rare few who doesnt. My MIL was telling me the other day, she craved the smell of petrol. Just imagine! But well the MILS

So do you really give in to such cravings or just repress? :khumar:

I have been so craving for bananas lately, and the bananas available in my town are as small as capsules :emmy: (Wendy your small cucumbers might be bigger than those! )

Re: Moms 2012- 2013

DA this was for Wendy. Her husband scares her of fish owing to amount of mercury present in fish. I thought it better to give her the realistic idea of the calculations so that she may know which fish is harmful and which is not. Waise I personally liked akmoti's R months idea. Just that the R month is still about one month away. But well the fish lovers can CELEBRATE concurring R months coming :@:

Re: Moms 2012- 2013

Ok a question for all you ladies in Pakistan.
Are the husbands allowed into the labor and delivery room at the hospital at the time of delivery?? I have heard that husbands are not allowed .. are you guys ok with that? And if so who's gonna be with u in the room?

Re: Moms 2012- 2013

In india male staff is allowed including ward boys....but husband is big no no for hospitals.............:(

In government hospitals women are slapped by nurses during natural pregnancy if they are making lot of fuss over labor pain...

One woman from my village lost her baby as she jumped of the operating table in a rage due to slap by nurse....

Re: Moms 2012- 2013

omg WHAT??? That is the most outrageous thing I’ve ever heard!! Is that really that common??
Here women giving birth are treated with so much love and respect .. I think I even kicked the nurse when I was having contractions .. she didn’t say anything to me lol

Re: Moms 2012- 2013

Wendy I am not quite sure since this will be my first time. i dont think they allow anyone else except for their own staff. This is what I remember from when my SIL gave birth to my niece and nephews.

Re: Moms 2012- 2013

I am talking about government hospitals across india.........and same must be true about pakistan...

Re: Moms 2012- 2013

Mirage: In US, husband is allowed to go in labor room.

Re: Moms 2012- 2013

Don’t you want hubby being there with you??
My husband was very helpful during my labor and delivery .. He still likes to fight with me over who saw our baby first :naraz:

Re: Moms 2012- 2013

Someone needs to set these nurses straight. Slapping their patients is just unacceptable

Re: Moms 2012- 2013

How could you know that? daal main kuch kala hai

Re: Moms 2012- 2013

With time i hope it will change…if one is privileged then the person can opt for private hospitals…which give quality service…
