Was reading this book my OB gave me … omg I remembered those pains caused by the uterus contracting … 
and sore nipples!!! OMG

I want to put mehndi on my daughter on chand raat. She's 2 ... will it work?? Should I even bother?

Yes wendy plz do. It looks sooo shweeet (disclaimer: I have only tried on my baby cznz and they ate some of the mehndi It looked darn cute though:wub:)

you were lucky to have such an OB. And yes, these pains SUCK BIG TIME. (even if someone makes fun and thinks we are just being hyper. You know it only when it happens, and then it hits hard 
I had a panadol as advised by the doctor for my wrist/arm pain. The pain has scattered all the way from the wrist towards the shoulder. Hoping to recover soon anyway.

You should do it when she is asleep. So that she doesnt mess with the mehndi and it stays longer too, to have left some colour. But I wonder if she will let her palm spread anyway

My OB is great I used her for my first too 
You should watch her sleep .. she rolls around all night!! That wont work at all

^ Wendy hold her hand for sometime. mehndi gets dry very quickly. then put some lemon juice on it with cotton or your finger. hold for 5 more minutes and then the mehndi will stick to her hand unless you wash it off rager rager k :)
i did it with kids around here. even i put it on feet of a 6 month old niece :). it looks super cute.

Knowing my baby I wouldn’t do it while she sleeps .. she’s a VERY light sleeper

specially 38th n 39th week were unforgettable lol
couldnt sleep,couldnt sit,walk,eat,heartburns n many more… phewww

i dont kno about pregnancies coz my mom also dont remember but labor deliveries were ofcourse harder coz there was no concept of c-section,epidural,episiotomy,induction,waterbirth,vacuum etc

no, dude, they had no pain relief. my nani delivered my 13lb mom vaginally with no relief and the poor woman fainted right after.
when my mom was delivering my 8.5lb brother, the “doctors” in pakistan asked her to push before she was completely dilated and you can imagine the aftermath. she was recovering from tearing for months afterwards!
but yes, i do know a few girls who’ve had an easy peasy pregnancy. all of them have been extremely fit pre-pregnancy. its also helped them bounce right back into shape after birth. don’t you just hate people like that?
