i don't think so because never read/heard in their any interview, btw i like shahwar rahim's role in hawwa ki beti-aise log hamari society main hon to kia hi baat hai.

saleema hashmi and her husband shoaib hashmi of sachgup, akkar bakkar, tall matol. Shoaib hashmi was also in drama balila (shenaz sheikh's debut serial) but banned soon after it aired because of shoaib hashmi's satires. Saleema hashmi is daughter of faiz ahmed faiz and currenly vice chairperson of human rights commission punjab.She also taught at NCA and was teacher of farooq qaiser (uncle sargam) there. She was in recently held lux awards ceremony.

Shoaib hashmi is a teacher at lahore school of economics and also taught many years in government college university lahore. Meera hashmi, their daughter was in family front.

i always thought adeel n meera are bro and sis....but turns out they r cousins.

Abid butt

He worked more on stage than TV, but left showbiz completely around 1995-96 and has been with Tableeghi Jamat ever since then. He came to our mosque a few years back. He had a long white beard and was wearing a dark gown, had some issues with back pain at that time and could not stand for longer periods of time.

Her name is Zeenat Butt, he told this in his speech at our mosque. She also left showbiz the same time he did.

I can't remember her. May be hybridkamal or muqawwee123 can

yes Nighat Butt who acted in many dramas of Lahore TV (especially Nusrat Thakurs plays like Piyas, Tawaan) is wife of Abid Butt (who acted in Andhera Ujala)

Meera hashmi is daughter of saleema and shoaib hashmi. Adeel hashmi is son of muzeeza hashmi (saleema's sister).Meera hashmi's husband waqas khan is a newscaster and also acts ocassioanlly. He did kaun series from prime tv in 2001 and was in last year's drama badi aapa.

And I think she still acts or was acting up until a few years back.

Actor/Producer from 70s-80s. The son of Shaukat Thanvi & Arsh-e-Munir (?).

I think he is no more. He acted in many plays including Teesra Kinara, Afshan, Ashfaq Ahmed's Bandar Jaati Aur Mamta, etc

He also produced many plays including Khuda Ki Basti along with Ishrat Ansari.

He passed away. Yes he was the son of shoukat thanvi (columnist, writer, broadcaster) and arsh-e-muneer. He produced drama khuda ki basti (1969 version) along with ishrat ansari, acted in teesra kinara, afshan etc. He played the role of beenish hassan's (qurban jillani's hyderabadi wife in drama) brother in afshan. He was also in first ever play of ptv nazrana (starring; qavi khan, khursheed shahid, rasheed umar etc.)

Urooj niaz, she used to appear in eid plays. She was in eid play chaand sa mukhra, starring; ali haider, urooj niaz, shahood alvi, tahira wasti (late). Another eid play was paapa ka kia ho ga, starring; humanyun saeed, urooj niaz, shabbir jan, badar khalil.

Khadija rehman, acted in many ptv plays and was also in mera ghar aik whirlpool hai.

Zeeshan sikander, debut in drama pinjra (produced by abid ali), acted in many movies including samina peerzada's inteha. His other dramas were woh kaun hai (cast: arjumand rahim, zeeshan sikander, ghazal siddique etc), talaash (cast: zeeshan sikander, vaneeza ahmed, farah shah), apnon se door (cast: shafi muhammad, badar khalil, sadia imam, maria wasti, zeeshan sikander etc). Though very bad actor he was.........

lols Zeeshan Sikandar did some ads for (not to be named products) with Nirma. Yes he was a bad actor. yesterday, I saw a rikshaw carrying name 'Zeeshan Sikandar'
