Mehrunnisa, acted in dramas alaao, fareb.
Tauqeer nisar, acted in khawaja and son, raahain (basu kumar role), pyassi (ptv lahore drama) etc.
Rehana siddiqui, last time saw her in a ptv long play based on late mansha yaad's short story "sheeda record-keeper".
Muhammad zubair who played role of hidayat in din drama, was also in khawaja and son, aashiyana etc. Is he alive??

Zubair was also in Ashfaq Ahmad's قرۃ العین the original version; the man who married Naveen Tajik in that play. But his role in Khawaja and Son was superb.
Isaac Samson: Mostly did negative roles from PTV Lahore.

Muneeza kidwai of zaib-un-nisa drama. She was also in critically acclaimed movie "raat chai hai jhoom ke" This movie won special jury award at kara film festival and screened in some festivals too, starring; faisal rehman, nadia jamil, muneza qidwai, anwar solangi etc. It aired from ptv few years ago. Muneeza kidwai is also a columnist in The news and worked as an editor initially.

Could someone share info on PTV Drama Announcers, I remember in early 80's there use to be very beautiful announcers
" Nabila Mughal " ( she was really charming ) & many others.
Never had PTV acknowledged their work or given any award, as far as I can remember.
And off lately end 90's, there was Mehwish something. she was in programme Meri Passand of Nayyara Noor. Can't remember her
full name.

Well i like shaista zaid (English newscaster), she retired last year and that female host ghazala qureshi (very pretty lady), remember her in ptv awards and ptv's 20th anniversary show.

On Mehwish, she was in the programme sitting as spectator not as co-host, wearing silver suit.

There were some controversial rumours about nabila mughal, Allah know better. I think you are talking about that pretty lady mehwish bokhari (yes she was in audience in nayyara noor episode). She was an announcer, host of mid-east time and shoaib mansoor’s iconic gulls and guys.

Are you sure? Because back in our college all the girls knew (i don’t know how) that arjumand rahim is the daughter of our chemistry teacher lol.I didn’t believe them but they kept on insisting it’s true and not a rumor and i could not help noticing the remarkable resemblance between the two.Arjumand was a student of our college btw.
Now who will confirm it?
