Re: Minister Zulfiqar mirza resigns! And makes serious allegations on Altaf Hussain

Re: Minister Zulfiqar mirza resigns! And makes serious allegations on Altaf Hussain

Mirza’s stupid outburst has created more problems for PPP than for MQM. It has shown a clear rift between PPP-Sindh and PPP-rest-of-Pak.
On one hand he calls Zardari his brother and on the other he calls Zardari’s ambassador, Rehman Malik, a terrorist supporter.

This stupid dumbass not only hurled abuses at his own party but also involved the US. Even US was calling him stupid as*hole in a statement.

Mirza’s statement beyond comprehension: US embassy
**
That kulhara-bardaar himself admitted that he raised the slogan of “Pakistan na khappay” once, and now he is accusing MQM of breaking the country**.
What a loser. What an as*hole.

Re: Minister Zulfiqar mirza resigns! And makes serious allegations on Altaf Hussain

You call Mirza a 'raciest'
Say about Altaf
Is he raciest or not ?

Re: Minister Zulfiqar mirza resigns! And makes serious allegations on Altaf Hussain

I found something more for you … that is, Mustafa Kamal giving more to Lyari as first priority than other parts of Karachi. For instance, Lyari always had fresh water problem that Mustafa Kamal worked to sort it out before anywhere else in Karachi. News also shows that before KWSB project, Mustafa already increased water supply to Lyari by 6 million gallons a day. Since cost of water projects did not come on local Nazim budgets, all expenditure were on top of Lyari local budget allocations.

Malaria is also one big problem in Karachi, especially Lyari and ‘old Karachi’ where water logging is normal as it is next to sea. News also talks about spraying of germicides in areas. Dates for spraying are mentioned for different areas, shows no discrimination. Obviously, all these works are hated by PPP and other political parties, as it give bad image of them who never did anything for people, hence all the propaganda. Here is news dated 16 May 2006:

http://archives.dawn.com/2006/05/16/local6.htm

KARACHI: Lyari chosen as KWSB’s model project

KARACHI, May 15: To address longstanding water shortage and sanitation problems in Lyari, City Nazim Mustafa Kamal has directed Karachi Water and Sewerage Board to carry out model projects in three union councils of the town.

Addressing a high-level meeting at KWSB here on Monday, he said after its success work would be carried out on the same pattern in the entire town.

Lyari Town Nazim Malik Fayyaz, KWSB MD Brig Iftikhar Haider and other officials attended the meeting, which was convened to review water and sewerage problems in the area.

Mustafa Kamal said that he had been hearing about water shortage and insanitation in Lyari since his childhood, but unfortunately these problems still existed. He, therefore, asked KWSB to work in Lyari as a model project to solve these problems forever. He told the meeting, held to review water supply situation in Lyari after functioning of K-III Project, that there was need to change water and sewerage “history” of the area.

He said that water scarcity in the area despite extra supply of six million gallon water daily indicated flaws in distribution system and faults in supply lines. He directed the KWSB to rectify the situation.

The nazim stressed the need for expediting work on revamping of water supply and sewerage system for which Rs50 million had been provided to each town. He asked town nazims to lay foundation stone of such projects so that they were completed in stipulated time.

He further asked them to register reputed companies of the metropolis with the KWSB to expedite the work. Besides, getting pre-qualification advertisement published in newspapers they should be insisted through mail or telephone to get registered with the KWSB, he said adding that private firms have no confidence in public institutions and they should therefore be told that their culture is changing and now all affairs would be carried out in a transparent manner.

On the occasion, the meeting was told that work on water and sewerage projects in the town with a cost of Rs50 million would start soon as tender had been invited for this. It was further informed that tenders for execution of sewerage projects in Landhi and Korangi industrial areas had been opened, while the same for Federal B Area and North Karachi industrial areas would be opened within a week.

Fumigation: On directive of City Nazim Mustafa Kamal, fumigation and vector control wing of city government’s health department on Monday launched fumigation drive in the metropolis.

During the drive from May 15 to June 3, germicides will be sprayed at open sewer drains, breeding points of mosquitoes and flies and other vulnerable places. The town-wise schedule of the campaign is: Saddar (May 15), Shah Faisal (May 16), Gadap (May 17), Bin Qasim Town (May 18), Orangi (May 19), Landhi (May 20), Keamari (May 22), Baldia (May 23), Korangi (May 24), Site (May 25), New Karachi (May 26), Malir (May 27), Lyari (May 29), Gulberg (May 30), Jamshed Town (May 31), Gulshan-i-Iqbal (June 01), North Nazimabad (June 02) and Liaquatabad (June 03).

DO (Fumigation and Vector Control) Hammad Siddiqui directed malaria inspectors to report to respective town nazim along with malaria supervisors, drivers and vehicles on the scheduled date. Malaria supervisors were asked to submit report to the town nazim and DO fumigation and vector control concerned after conducting germicide spray on daily basis.

** LAND RECORD**: City Nazim Mustafa Kamal has announced that the city government would soon introduce a system whereby the record of all government and private lands would be computerised.

Chairing a meeting at Civic Centre, he pointed out that with computerisation of revenue record, the problems being faced by people in property transfer and land transactions even in cases of registration for the next 50 years would be minimised.

DCO Fazlur Rehman, EDO (IT) Dr Atardas, EDO (Revenue) Mohammed Saleh Farooqi and EDO (Finance) Roshan Ali Shaikh were also present in the meeting.––PPI / APP

Don't mix discussion from one topic in another. Stop being emotional.
Go get a glass of water.

Re: Minister Zulfiqar mirza resigns! And makes serious allegations on Altaf Hussain

Some people have the habit of seeing everything with opaque glasses.
sigh.

Adding something about Malir’s development:

2009
http://www.dailytimes.com.pk/default.asp?page=2009\07\16\story_16-7-2009_pg12_9
KARACHI: The water supply scheme and water reservoir in Malir Town was inaugurated here on Tuesday evening.

The CDGK project, worth Rs 110 million, consists of a 26-km long 36-inch diameter pipeline from Pipri Filter Plant to Saudabad Pumping Station. The water scheme would provide to 10 million gallons of water daily to the residents of Malir Town. The entire project would be complete and functional within two months.

On the occasion, City Nazim Mustafa Kamal said Malir Town is the only town in city that has been provided a water project that supplies 10 million gallons of water daily, while others have a maximum 6 million gallons capacity.

Speaking about further improvement plans for Malir Town, Kamal said the CDGK plans to establish at least three loops of the Elevated Expressway down to Malir Town. A road built with a cost of Rs 2.5 billion has already been constructed that connects Malir Town to the Toll Plaza and to the rest of the city within minutes, he said.

Re: Minister Zulfiqar mirza resigns! And makes serious allegations on Altaf Hussain

Geographically, yes.
But in reality Karachi is mini Pakistan.

Re: Minister Zulfiqar mirza resigns! And makes serious allegations on Altaf Hussain

Khoji, you are so right. … well, here is another article on work done in Lyari:

Budget allocations for year 2007. I posted above that apart of different works done by city government in financial year 2007-08, over Rs 400 million was allocated to Lyari. News shows agitation by opposition claiming that Mustafa work in places where MQM has no constituency is to get elected there too. So, one may accuse Mustafa Kamal that he worked more in opposition constituency so that MQM get elected there too in future, but to accuse that Mustafa Kamal neglected constituency of opposition parties, that is ridiculous.

KARACHI: Rs45,695m CDGK budget approved
By Latif Baloch
KARACHI, June 30: City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal on Saturday presented the City District Government Karachi’s budget for the year 2007-08 having an outlay of Rs45,695.88 million against the estimated expenditure of Rs45,479.05 million budget and showing a surplus of Rs216.53 million. No new taxes have been levied.

“Never in the history of the city such a huge budget was presented by a local government,” he proudly told the City Council’s budget session which was marred by total chaos owing to the rumpus by opposition members.

Ignoring the loud noise, full-throat slogans and agitation all along, the city nazim went ahead with his speech though he had to cut it short.

He said the allocation to education sector stood highest, at 18 per cent while the health sector came next with seven per cent.

A sum of Rs23,529.22 million has been earmarked for uplift projects and another Rs2,624.70 million for the 18 towns and 178 union councils. The budgetary allocations include Rs10,171.18 million for the KWSB, which would release Rs5,867 million under the head of development.

The total allocation for development has been put at Rs29 billion.

The city nazim told the house that the Works and Services Department would get Rs12,553.48 million, education Rs7,991.43 million, health Rs3,137.57 million and Coordination Department Rs1,139.26 million. The amount set aside for disbursing the towns and UCs share is Rs2,624.70 million, and the Annual Development Programme Rs2,054.57 million.

According to the budget document, Rs1,815.40 million has been allocated for UCs (Women, General and Minorities seats), Rs869.63 million for Revenue Department, Rs740.19 million for municipal services, Rs480.91 million for Community Development, Rs407.35 million for Transport and Communication Department, Rs400.98 million for Finance and Planning Department, Rs288.30million for Debt Servicing, Pension Fund and miscellaneous expenditure, Rs220.27 million for Information Technology Department, Rs152.45million for Agriculture Department, Rs150.42 million for Naib Nazim’s Secretariat and Rs28.17 million for Literacy Department.

Syed Mustafa Kamal said that more than 50 uplift schemes had been identified which would be undertaken in the next fiscal. He said it was because of the hectic efforts by the city government that foreign investment was pouring in and a total of over $1 billion investment was expected to be made in the near future.

Referring to the uplift project, he said Lyari town’s water problem spanning over half a century was going to be resolved soon. Similarly, the water and sewerage problems in Baldia and Orangi towns, as well as the old city areas, would also be solved when the ongoing projects would be completed.

The nazim alleged that the opposition was criticising the government for its ulterior motives, claiming that they were perturbed over the city government’s success in carrying out massive development across the city as this would cost them the public support they were desperately seeking in view of the upcoming elections.

After the nazim concluded his speech, Naib City Nazim Ms Nasreen Jalil, who was in the chair, adjourned the house for 30 minutes. When the house reassembled, the members approved the budget with a majority while the opposition continued with its protest.

The opposition groups maintained that the relevant rules and regulations were violated in preparing the budget.

As soon as the city nazim started his speech, the opposition members holding placards in their hands stood up and drew the nazim’s attention to their objection and other grievances.

As the nazim took no notice of their uproar, the opposition members tore off copies of the budget and started raising slogans and thumping the desks to interrupt his speech. However, the nazim kept reading out his speech. The chair also dismissed their objection and asked the opposition leaders, Saeed Ghani of the Awam Dost Group and Rafiq Ahmed of the Al-Khidmat Group to stop making noise and calm down their members.Later, talking to newsmen, Mr Ghani and Mr Ahmed declared the budget document ‘illegal’, saying that the budget had been presented in total violation of the relevant rules. They also severely criticized the city nazim, and said that instead of restricting his speech to presenting the budget document, he resorted to attacking the opposition and subjecting it to threats.

Re: Minister Zulfiqar mirza resigns! And makes serious allegations on Altaf Hussain

UK has also started showing surprise on mental capability of Mirza. They denied existence of any letter from ALtaf Hussain to Tony Blair, concocted letter that Mirza found in his toilet just like his big boss found a concocted letter of inheritance when as heir he took possession of PPP Jayalas as his slaves. UK also made fool of Ummat Newspaper when their investigation department claimed that there is no investigation going on against Altaf Hussain nor there is any restriction on him in UK regarding his movement or whatever. USA has also denied of any such plans what Mirza dreamt he heard from Altaf Hussain, making fool of Mirza claims.

It seems Mirza is hallucinating things and similarly there are people belonging to PPP hallucinating then spreading rumours everywhere.

Re: Minister Zulfiqar mirza resigns! And makes serious allegations on Altaf Hussain

How can Altaf be racist?

Before MQM, Muhajirs were divided into many nationalities and races, but MQM united them into one Nationality ‘Muhajir’ above all nationalities and races they belonged to before MQM. Today, MQM is adding other nationalities living in Karachi into same ‘one Nationality’.

I wish MQM in future could play the same role in Pakistan by uniting all other Pakistanis who are divided into many nationalities and races into one Nationality that is ‘Pakistani’, just like what MQM did in Karachi.

Re: Minister Zulfiqar mirza resigns! And makes serious allegations on Altaf Hussain

Typical MQM line - pretend there were never any Sindhi's in their own capital, and Karachi was a small village before 1947, only built by MQM-wallahs.

Anyone with any knowledge can recognise this propaganda line.

Re: Minister Zulfiqar mirza resigns! And makes serious allegations on Altaf Hussain

:rotfl:

A supporter of the biggest ethno-racist party in Pakistan calls other people racist, then refuses to discuss their leaders huge bigotry.

MQM hypocrisy as always :rotfl:

Re: Minister Zulfiqar mirza resigns! And makes serious allegations on Altaf Hussain

Any capital/commercial capital in the world is full of many ethnic groups. London, NY, Toronto

None of these ethnic groups think they should torture, kill and kick out ethnic English. Americans, Canadians, etc

Re: Minister Zulfiqar mirza resigns! And makes serious allegations on Altaf Hussain

Ask the thousands of Pathans, Punjabis, Sindhi's, etc. he has killed, just because of the ethnic group they belonged to.

Re: Minister Zulfiqar mirza resigns! And makes serious allegations on Altaf Hussain

CDGK website is not useful for getting proper information.

You said you don't have information of budget allocation, but you know development in Lyari. Plz try to come up with specific projects names, sports facilities (at least names of roads, etc) which were started and completed during Mustafa Kamal's tenure. I couldn't find any major development going underway during that time.

I would agree to your point for winning of election by MQM in Lyari, if I hadn't spent five years of my life in Lyari.

Re: Minister Zulfiqar mirza resigns! And makes serious allegations on Altaf Hussain

Yara - why not , just for the change , you be a man and instead of wasting your time on typing it again and again , do some action - lodge a case against AH , for killing these thousands of Pakistanis ... just do it from the territory where you live :)

And if you dont have the balls like Imran khan , who once intended to do the very same .. Sit in the corner and enjoy the show :)

Little less conversation , little more action please:)

Re: Minister Zulfiqar mirza resigns! And makes serious allegations on Altaf Hussain

Bravo Bravo Bravo! My dear friend can you plz come up with authentic sources for your claims.

My Dear friend! Karachi had majority of Sindhi ppl before partition. Do you know how many schools were thr in Karachi at the time of partition. Let me tell you.

At the time of partition there were 131 primary schools for boys & 58 for girls in Karachi and 24 High schools for boys & 19 for girls. Out of these 31 were Urdu medium and majority of the remaining schools were Sindhi & English Medium schools. You may criticize Sindhi Hindus for one or other reason, but they were well educated and they did lot for their mother tongue, even today there are more than 30 Sindhi collegues in Mumbai. There were 12 Sindhi daily newspapers were published at the time of partition, 38 weeklies and 48 monthly magazines in Sindhi at the time of partition.

(Source: Karachi Sindh Ji Marvi by Gul Hassan Kalmati which based on 100s of research books in Sindhi, Urdu & English)

That shows Sindhis were not aliens to this land at the time of partition.

Secondly, Karachi was not forthwith separated from Sindh in 1947. The decision was taken on May 22, 1948 and that was also opposed by many Sindhi politicians which are unfortunately treated as traitors by our establishment. Even Sindh was not given any funds / compensation money for developing their new capital in Hyderabad, which was previously agreed by the central Govt while taking over Karachi. Reason was very hateful, "Maftooha ilaqon ki koi compensation nahin hoti'.

I can't understand your point that when Sindh was part of India before 1947, everyone (Indian) has right to come and settle here, but now settlement of ppl from different parts of the country (including Sindh) is not tolerated. Why and how this free mobility concept took a U-Turn????

Re: Minister Zulfiqar mirza resigns! And makes serious allegations on Altaf Hussain

Karachi ab sab ka hai. Whether you like it or not Sindhi, Balochs, Punjabi, Pakhtuns are the reality of Karachi .

Re: Minister Zulfiqar mirza resigns! And makes serious allegations on Altaf Hussain

Presenting plans and budget is one thing and actually implementing it is another. How many schemes / projects were really completed by CDGK, is my question?

Re: Minister Zulfiqar mirza resigns! And makes serious allegations on Altaf Hussain

Wah Wah Wah! Tussi Chha gae ho badshaho! Isn’t it the same MQM, which announced youm e sog for killing of Urdu speaking ppl without even mentioning that many Pashtun, Saraiki, Balochi, Sindhi ppl were also victim of the brutal killing. Isn’t the same MQM, who had not come up with clear statement against the demand of Muhajir Sooba on walls of Karachi and their leaders indirectly supported that by saying ’ Deevaron pe likha Padho’. Their leader didn’t even consider Pakistan a nation, he is against two-nation theory and called Indo-Pak partition a blunder.
