I recently just came back from Pakistan. I got my makeup done twice from this parlour in Lahore called Sumaira's. The person doing my makeup was male.. and he 'looked' gay also... but he did the BEST makeup ever and was so nice. It was so natural looking.... I would seriously recommend going to this parlour for anyone wanting party makeup! His name is Kashif.

I personally dont see anything wrong with getting makeup done from males. My bridal makeup was done by Ather Shahzad... he did a good job also.

hum yahan kehtay rehtay hain apnee baytion ko kai yehnahee pehna wohnahee pehnnana aur jub woh daikhtay hain pak kai fashion au jo sawaal kerte hain tou hum lajawab...?aur woh jo manhoos(sorry) capri type shalwar nikli hai,,lahoulwala,,aik din ayee ga jub ..pak mai larkian off shoulder shirts pehna shuru ker dayin ,,balkay shayed pehan bhee rahee hongee,waisey hamarae yahan usa ,canada waghera ki bachyian,,shayed itna fashion mai nahee jitna pak ki kuch jagaoun ki,,am i right:)

i think you are! i think when people go abroad the parents are all about preserving their values, etc., so they're extra conscious of what their girls wear, but then they don't realise that time hasn't stood still and people are more liberal in Pakistan now than before. i've seen one shoulder shirts and spaghetti strap shirts and backless halter top sari blouses on my friends... i guess if you can pull it off, go for it! :P but yeah, i think my mom would kill me if i wore one of those! haha
