MIL slaps husband

Whoa what a weird thread.

Oh man given your posts, I hope you never become a MIL to a poor little girl.

Re: MIL slaps husband

There's a balance that needs to be kept when kids grow up and become adults. These are not diapers you're tapping anymore people...they're adults with kids of their own.

The son should never have raised his voice...absolutely.

But the mom...who seems competent shouldn't have laid a slap across her son's face like that.

With power comes responsibility. Just because you have the right to do something doesn't mean you're allowed to be careless.

Re: MIL slaps husband

Its not assumptions muggle, going against a mother’s behavior and not talking a single thing about the guy’s reaction is what made me think that way. I would have no questions if I could read you mentioned both the parties being wrong and being right at the same time. Wrong because both of them should have controlled their anger and both are right because their reaction was according to the situation.

In fact, me myself do NOT appreciate such an act but entirely taking a mother’s slap as an insult and telling her that its not her right, seemed quite odd to me!!

So yes, as you cleared that both the son and the mother were wrong in this situation then probably we two are on the same page and it leaves nothing to be arguing about.

Not at all. I will become a MIL to a RICH grownup girl
yes, grown up and mature enough :chai:

Re: MIL slaps husband

Great answer Queen.

These enlightened so called " Selectively liberal women" for no reason whatsoever find all the faults in MIL’s and call every DIL as “poor”, “little” just to make a point.

These women forget that MIL is also a woman but hatred makes them blinded to the reality.

Some of these women project their own sad and bad experiences in to their opinions when post online.

Re: MIL slaps husband

yeah no. unless you live on planet mamasboi.

and by the same token, those who are condoning the slapping a grown man by his mom, that too in front of his wife - are displaying classic symptoms of desensitization to domestic abuse - possibly from being raised in households where slapping everyone around is a common occurance since childhood.

Re: MIL slaps husband

The issue is about mother who wiped your behind and nose when you needed her. And she changed your dirty diaper when you needed to be away from a nasty case of diaper rash. Unless you still have one as an adult.

Re: MIL slaps husband

taking care of a baby is not a license to abuse the same baby later in life. unless they are on planet mamasboi, of course.

Re: MIL slaps husband

Every man and woman has to have respect for his/her mother.

She is the one along with the father, these adults roam around the world and act arrogant, pompous and those who have balls or any individuality.

Re: MIL slaps husband

One has to define abuse.

Being slapped for a man by his mother is hardly an abuse. He should take the slap from his won mother likse a man. No big deal.

Why be a cry baby as an adult????

Such a wussy man doesn't deserve to be called a man anyways.

Re: MIL slaps husband

Islam teaches us about the 'rutba' of parents and how we can't even say 'uff' infront of them as even that is disrespect. Whilst i am a very bad son to my own mother, i still leave you guys with this thought.

Re: MIL slaps husband

like i said before, these are classic outs for those desensitized to domestic abuse. "take it like a man!" "cry baby!"

Re: MIL slaps husband

LOL yes of course miss queen and you are the only sane ones on this forum who have it all figured out. Carry on :)

Re: MIL slaps husband

I am talking about the mother who carried the son in her body for nine months, then she went through the pain of birth or whatever, then she took care of the son when he needed her for every little things he need her for lying helpless in a cradle, hungry, dirty....

Yes, bad mothers are reality who run away from their children right after birth.

Still no one can ever pay for her carrying him for nine months, not drinking alcohol or smoking through pregnancy. No one.

And when the child becomes an adult, marries to another woman, thinks he has his own life being an adult?

Yeah right.

**A mother does not need any extra reasons to be respected. She already has done what was needed.

Children, no matter what they can do can never repay her and demand so called 'respect' even if she does not want to.**

Re: MIL slaps husband

Why are you obsessed with dirty diapers? A nanny or a daycare provider is perfectly capable of doing that as well. A mother's duty goes beyond changing diapers, wiping noses and staying up at night. It actually involves teaching your kids how to be kind and respectful of others and how to manage your temper....something the mother apparently failed at. Instead of acting like a bully on the playground and taking advantage of her 'status', she could've actually acted like a mother and explained herself to her son. But then I am just a bitter liberal woman and my post is a projection of my sad life so what do I know? :(

Re: MIL slaps husband

And your reason(s) to disagree is what? :D

Re: MIL slaps husband

what are you man? mithun chakraborty doing a mataji scene? :smack:

Re: MIL slaps husband

Find me a nanny who carried the child in her womb like a mother does. Then we will talk.

Re: MIL slaps husband

You could not find anything better to say. So obvious. :hehe:

Re: MIL slaps husband

i already addressed your mithun drama twice before - giving birth etc. is no excuse for abusing the child at a later point. to which you said beating in front of your wife is not abuse, mard ban, cry baby etc. as if beatings are just normal. and when this was pointed out, you went back to mithun drama.

cyclical arguer much?

Re: MIL slaps husband

And you have not defined abuse here.

A thappar to a grown up man from his mother hardly is an abuse. :smack:

She did not come with a hockey stick breaking his legs or shot him with a shot gun.

Don’t make a drama of no issue here.

We are not discussing child abuse here. Read above posts before saying something.
