9:52 Say: "Can you expect for us (any fate) other than one of two glorious things- (Martyrdom or victory)? But we can expect for you either that Allah will send his punishment from Himself, or by our hands. So wait (expectant); we too will wait with you."
103.001By (the Token of) Time (through the ages), 103.002 Verily Man is in loss, 103.003 Except such as have Faith, and do righteous deeds, and (join together) in the mutual teaching of Truth, and of Patience and Constancy.
This sura has had a prodound impact on my thinking and my behavior. What really grabs the attention is how it starts i.e Allah Tallah swears upon all times from the begining to present and clearly states that all mankind is in loss with the exception of those who perform/maintain the qualities described in the sura. May Allah give us all the strength to mold our behavior according to this sura. ameen

Too many to count.
There is one about the true righteous not among those who consider turning their face to east or west as part of it, another one is about people to call Him for help as He is near, very comforting. Then there is a verse about His blessing and our denial but the best are the enormous amount of prayers taught to us, especially those of the earlier prophets.
Rabana hublana min azwajayna ...
'Oh our Allah, grant us of our wives and children the delight of our eyes, and make us a model for the righteous.' I believe it is from surah Al-Furqan.

41 : 44: “Had We sent this as a Quran (in a language) other than Arabic they would have said: “Why are not its verses explained in detail? What! (a Book) not in Arabic and (a Messenger) an Arab?” Say: "**It is a guide and a healing to those who believe; and for those who believe not there is a deafness in their ears and it is blindness in their (eyes); they are (as it were) being called from a place far distant!.” **

2:143 Thus, have We made of you an Ummat justly balanced, that ye might be witnesses over the nations, and the Messenger a witness over yourselves; and We appointed the Qibla to which thou wast used, only to test those who followed the Messenger from those who would turn on their heels (From the Faith). Indeed it was (A change) momentous, except to those guided by Allah. And never would Allah Make your faith of no effect. For Allah is to all people Most surely full of kindness, Most Merciful.

2:177It is not (the only) righteousness that ye turn your faces Towards east or West; but it is righteousness- to believe in Allah and the Last Day, and the Angels, and the Book, and the Messengers; to spend of your substance, out of love for Him, for your kin, for orphans, for the needy, for the wayfarer, for those who ask, and for the ransom of slaves; to be steadfast in prayer, and practice regular charity; to fulfil the contracts which ye have made; and to be firm and patient, in pain (or suffering) and adversity, and throughout all periods of panic. Such are the people of truth, the Allah.fearing.

3:102 - Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo ittaqoo Allaha haqqa tuqatihi wala tamootunna illa waantum muslimoon
O ye who believe! fear Allah as He should be feared, and die not except in a state of Islam.

(2:62) Those who believe (in the Qur’an) and those who follow the Jewish (Scriptures) and the Christians and the Sabians and who believe in Allah and the last day and work righteousness shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear nor shall they grieve
