every verse or the Qur'aan is powerful! one of my favourite one is
Allah said in the Qur'aan:
"Had We sent down this Qur'an on a mountain, verily, thou wouldst have seen it humble itself and shatter for fear of Allah. Such are the similitudes which We propound to men, that they may reflect."
(59:21)
and the whole of surah Tawbah is jus Subhan-Allah amazing.
Salah Uddin u shud b careful. u say he took it out of context and he will get what is coming on qiyamah? then on that brother defence u will get what sumthing for calling him stupid!

And when trouble befalls a man, he calls on Us, lying on his side, or sitting or standing, but when We have removed his trouble from him, he goes his way as though he had never called on Us for the removal of the trouble that befell him. Thus it is that the doings of the extravagant are made to seem fair in their eyes.

Verily, the rising by night (for Tahajjud prayer) is very hard and most potent and good for governing (the soul), and most suitable for (understanding) the Word (of Allah). (73:6)
