*For instance *… Through Islamabad dharna before last election, TUQ exposed politicians (especially PPP politicians) devious and lying character. The way it happened was that after scaring from TUQ Islamabad gathering, PPP eminent leaders, representing government, came to his container and promised everything on earth and made several agreements of election reforms that could have made election transparent and according to constitution. But their promises and agreements (what they signed too) was empty talks, only for TUQ to end gathering and save corrupt election system … as once gathering ended, these liars (who are top PPP leaderships) and government they represented went back on their own promises, agreements and signed contracts (they did just like their master, devious Zardari once said when he made agreement and signed contract with Nawaz Shareef, that agreements, promises and signed contracts means nothing to him, as his words and his signed documents is not Quran).
What happened after end of Islamabad gathering that resulted after negotiation, promises, and signed contracts by top PPP leadership representing government, then going back after gathering ended, showed to people that Pakistani politicians are not only deceivers and liars, but their promises, agreements, and signed contracts mean nothing … so, one should never trust these rascals.
As for TUQ dual nationality, it is same as yours or mine (I mean, if you have dual nationality). So, if you think that you are not Pakistani and this forum is not run by Pakistanis (even though they might be holding Pakistani NIC and Passport) then fine, TUQ is not Pakistani …else he is as much Pakistani as you and me.
Ruling given by Iftikhar Chaudhary on TUQ dual nationality is such that IC should be tried on treason charge, as he violated Pakistani constitution that allows Pakistani citizens to hold dual nationality without losing any right over Pakistan and Pakistani nationality. Unfortunately, Pakistani politicians smell so much **** that even those who (or their kids) might be holding dual nationality, who live most of their time outside Pakistan, especially when out of power and also while in power, have plundered Pakistan and invested most of those looted money outside Pakistan, show their faces on TV and try to have pun on TUQ dual nationality.
[For instance, Nawaz Shareef’s children, Zardari’s (and BeNazir’s) children, Z A Bhutto’s daughter (Sanam Bhutto), Imran Khan children, rather most Pakistani politicians or their children have dual nationality … but when it comes to making fool of Pakistanis, they and their cronies lie and talk all sort of BS],
*Presently *… TUQ is only asking that there should be election reform, such that what is written in Pakistani constitution (all candidates who want to contest election should comply with requirements mentioned in constitution … that is written in article 62, 63 and some other articles) should be implemented in words and sprite of the constitution and laws should be made such that implementation becomes mandatory and enforceable … plus election commission should be made completely independent and strong (as constitution demands)… plus punishment should be given to all who violates constitutional clauses that make a candidate legible to contest election.
Unfortunately, if constitution do gets implemented as it is then most Pakistani politicians would be out of politics, many politicians (especially those who lead PPP and PMLN) may find themselves rotting in prison for corruption and nepotism they have done, and that is the reason all hue, cry and propaganda by politicians and their cronies against TUQ.
As far as Saying that TUQ is power hungry, then it is a funny comment, because TUQ is not contesting election neither he is saying that he would contest election or wanting to get into Pakistani politics ... On the other hand, I do not know what you mean by Power hungry, as what I see, all politicians are power hungry (so, no big deal even if TUQ was power hungry).
Those who say that if TUQ do not want to contest election then why he talks about Pakistani politics as he has no stake, but that is again propaganda to misguide fools amongst public, as being a Pakistani, Pakistani political system and who rules Pakistan concern him too. We should know that all Pakistanis are stake holder of Pakistani political system and who get elected to rule them.
