Re: wedding: menu

i LOVE butter chicken.. and i usually drive an hour to go get it if i have to. it's just too yummy. i tried having it recently at some paki restaurant and it tasted more like the ghar ka chicken saalan than anything else, there wasnt a slight hint of butter in it, all i tasted was tomatoes and a million spices.

Re: wedding: menu

it's in houston, who wants to come? keep the menu coming

Re: wedding: menu

You really have to go through a process of trial and error of finding out which indian restaurant make the best butter chicken!

Some chefs use the normal base sauce for the salan which is made up of yougurt, tomatoes and spices! One of our fav restaurants made the best butter chicken and we went there recently - ordered it and got a very tamatery salan - i guess the chefs were replaced!

Once the right one has been found - it tasted really nice with white boiled rice of fresh naans! YUM!

I like chicken karahi, aloo gosht, palak gosht, chanay, chicken madrassi, nihari, maybe kebab salen
dessert: ice cream, falooda, rice kheer, i like chocolate fountain, it rocks!!
hmm also ras malai is the best
This one wedding I went to had open bar, but they were also making virgin drinks, i loved it!!!!
