Men and their wandering eyes

Re: Men and their wandering eyes

Naughty I don't dislike kallay, I dislike niggers and thugs and gangstas, there's a diff. Even chris rock makes the distinction: "I love black people but i hate niggers!" Dying ur hair blonde while ur desi-dark is also quite ugly. It' sjust a matter of what look I dislike and flatters someoens skin tone.. it's not always about culture and insecurity/gora-complex, whatever u wanan call it

Very well said.

Re: Men and their wandering eyes

PCG...dont act like you agree with that...

According to you any black person thats has cornrows isnt fit for the workplace...it isnt just niggas and gangstas that have cornrows...black people tend to have cornrows...and just cos some dont doesnt make them civilised people...

Sara made a distinction...you are just racist...it aint matter whether they black or niggas you shown that you look down at aspects of their culture...

White peoples clothes are acceptable because they are from civilised people...cornrows arent becuase they are from uncivilised people...now thats shameful...but hey you arent the only paki bigot...

Re: Men and their wandering eyes

Acting “black” only looks good on African Americans, it’s not an issue of racism. Similar attempts by desi wannabes, latinos, etc are lame but very amusing

Re: Men and their wandering eyes

alkl sorts of ppl can be found every where.

in pak there maybe some perverts ... but there are also real decent ppl ....

talk abt karachi or lahore...

the difference is similar to that of usa n uk.

karachi is more versatile n has a diverse range of ppl . lahorites are always trying to discriminate others.

the real art lies in the way a women carries herself . whether it be karachi lahore or amrika.

Re: Men and their wandering eyes

SKhan...read my replies again...

Why when someone sports cornrows...or wears baggy jeans is it acting black...
But when a girl dies her hair blonde and wears a blouse its not acting white...

I dont have a problem with either...do whatever looks good...just because you appreciate something from another culture doesnt mean you are a wannabe...

It seems that with most people its only an unclassy act if you appreciate something from a lower culture...ie black culture in most of your eyes...its absolutely fine when you adopt something from white culture...

If im a wannabe so are a lot of you...wear your salwar kameeze then you are a paki based on your dumb philosophy...lets just add that you are a wannabe if you eat with a spoon cos that never came from paki culture...thats from the english...

So look...just admit that you dont appreciate something because it comes from a set of people you dont respect...a lower form of human being unlike your white masters...just be clear...

Re: Men and their wandering eyes

Can you guys tone down the language here please.
There's no need for mud-slinging or name-calling.

Re: Men and their wandering eyes

Men like to watch women but after watchin them thy complaining like she looks so slutty.

Re: Men and their wandering eyes

Blame? I don't think that's the right word. It's human nature. Men will look. Are they biologically programmed to do that? As long as they keep control of themselves it's perfectly normal. And women are naturally beautiful. Most guys will look at anything that jiggles. Doesn't really mean anything.

Re: Men and their wandering eyes

I think you missed his sarcasm.

Re: Men and their wandering eyes

Muzna...
bigoted people annoy me...

Saimanyc...
I agree with you...thankyou...its natural for men and women to look at each other and to look at what they find attractive...just be flattered that someone find you attractive...its all good...
And Saima makes another good point that looking is fine...but following up the look might not always be fine...

Nilu...
Just cos a gal looks slutty doesnt mean shes not good to look at...just means we wouldnt get with her...

Re: Men and their wandering eyes

Re: Men and their wandering eyes

That is a racist comment PCG, and proper grooming is different from hairstyles…can’t straight hair be ungroomed? grooming is one thing and choosing wotever hairstyle u like is another…have respect for all races and their traditions.

** “…something that u are not…”** who are u to say who they are? i mean depends how u grew up…if u grew up in an asian area and develop that sort of taste in styles, then that is wot u KNOW…if u grew up with blacks then yea maybe ur more into the hip-hop fashion, cornrows etc, if u grew up with whites then maybe u lean more towards blazers and trousers, punk, rock or country music…and so on…wot counts is how u perceive other types of ppl…and obviously u don’t have enough experiences of ppl from all cultures, therefore u disrepect ppl different from u…desis livin abroad are a mix of two diff cultures so of course we gona lean towards wot interests us and wot types of music and clothing we enjoy…

Pakistanis are not being insecure just bcos they choose to look more “gora” or “kala”…europe and america has many differents styles, and something that is fashionable now maybe wasn’t 20 yrs ago… Wot about paki girls who have wavy, curly hair and are always trying to straighten it?? Are they trying to be “goris” … i mean come on this is very narrow minded thinking…if NBN has cornrows so wot? doesnt make him lower than u…u and others who think like this are quick to judge just based on looks…like the old saying goes “don’t judge a book by it’s cover”.

Another thing, i know some “kalas” who have top professional jobs and have cornrows…and i know some Paki women too who have professional positions and go to work in shalwar kameez in America…

In this day and age, what's sad is that there are still racists out there like u:(

Re: Men and their wandering eyes

 Very well said KashmiriRainDrops…

Re: Men and their wandering eyes

Absolutely not. If you look at African Americans, there is a sizeable class of upper class-middle class educated people that do not follow the "getto lifestyle", and they also frown upon it.

Its actions by a particular socio-economic class - this "getto behavior" of which this hairstyle is one characteristic of many.

English is a language. Ebonics is a degradation of that language. Ghetto behavior is a deliberate attempt to do things the wrong way. You wouldn't be seeing IVY league boys organizing a group to teach young African American boys to do away with that type of behavior.

Re: Men and their wandering eyes

By the way, "getto behavior" is not just practiced by African Americans. Caucausians and hispanics also do it. When the desis who practice these habits aren't in low socio-economic classes in the first place, it seems very odd that they would try to ape the behaviors of a lower class...

I mean, you wont see them making a fashion statement out of a jamadhar's garments and ishtyle...

Re: Men and their wandering eyes

Some desis are in low socio-economic classes and some are in high classes…if u dont have a problem with Caucasians or Hispanics who are in lower classes than y do u have one with desis?

Yeah u won’t see them wearing jamadhar’s or wotever, becos they weren’t exposed to that maybe?

Asian guys like NBN who wear cornrows are not insecure bcos of how they look, rather have the courage to be who they are and stand out with confidence…ur the one who seems insecure cos u have so many issues and they all have to do with something from your own race…

Ur trying to fit ppl into groups that only u have known, but there is more out there…just open ur eyes (and ur heart) a little bit more and try not to be so judgmental, instead be more accepting…that’s all im saying…

NBN - Thanks, i’m just saying wot i truly believe and i can’t stand racism.
