Men and their wandering eyes

Re: Men and their wandering eyes

Allah has told both men and women to dress modestly

and he has also told us to "lower our gaze"......

1) Muslims are asked to dress modeslty/decently

2) for the nonMuslims etc who arent dressing modestly, we are told to lower our gaze..dont look at them.

isnt that the end of the discussion?

Re: Men and their wandering eyes

both parties try to bbe overclever

one showing n the other doing.

Re: Men and their wandering eyes

Yup, well said

Also most times its the less attractive girls that wear this crap to seek attention.

Ultimately both sides are to blame. Theres nothing attractive about a woman degrading herself by exposing her flesh for the short sighted folk out there.

Re: Men and their wandering eyes

If you ladies are so bitchy about how men gaze - firstly stop wearing revealing clothing, like anything, a plunging neckline, skin tight shalwar qameez with slits beyond the shalwar belting itself. Why are you girls wearing it if you are so insecure about "GAZING"

By your standards you are advocating men to be either sterile or gay - by looking away from something like that.

Re: Men and their wandering eyes

i find it quite interesting how women complain about men staring at them....If you were lowering your gaze in the first place you wouldnt even notice that a man was looking at you.

sorry to bring up religion but.....on the day of judgement you are going to be accounted for YOUR good and bad deeds....so why be concerned about why men stare and whether it is right or wrong or who's fault it is.

Re: Men and their wandering eyes

well the thing is even if a girl has a pretty face and she is dressed in modest clothing…men will still look at her.

but like i said in my above post women wouldnt notice who was or wasnt looking at them had they not been looking to begin with.

Re: Men and their wandering eyes

There is a difference in between these two kinds of looks.

Re: Men and their wandering eyes

Bravo. :k:

Re: Men and their wandering eyes

men men men------- its always men

Re: Men and their wandering eyes

even if women are all naked its men's fault

men men men-----

even if they are covered from head to toe its men

men men men

Re: Men and their wandering eyes

not if ur in pak there isnt. …doesnt matter matter if ur in a bikini or in a hijab…the still stare hard

Re: Men and their wandering eyes

UFFF lol@ everyone's comments ..bottom line is whenever MOST that is most not ALL guys see an individual who is of the opposite sex, their "eyes" pop out of their head and their "perve" hormones react ...irrespective of whether the girl is fully clothed or not ...BUT flashing does not help and then one assumes that their hormones step up a gear ...lolz.

BUT I think all in all ...I dont think you can ever prevent a guy from noticing that a gyal has just entered/walked past/sat down ...but I think that the girl shouldn't make matters worse by attracting unnecessary attention for herself. :)

Re: Men and their wandering eyes

Angel Eyes, its not so much about staring, as it is about the danger of what happens when you don't put the guy in his place early on.

I don't think any girl deserves to be harassed at work or while shopping, no woman deserves to have her arse pinched or crotch grabbed while in a bazaar. But that's what happens. And it happens to girls who are properly clad.

If a woman doesn't stand up for herself when she's been harassed or abused, things can get out of hand - a guy thinks its OK to do what he's doing.

IMHO, I think that the problem is especially terrible in Pakistan, and in places like Karachi, police need to be allowed to smack guys on the head with a metal danda when they catch them even staring at girls and making even gandhay ishaaray.

Re: Men and their wandering eyes

^ Karachi is lot better. Ask girls who have lived in Lahore and have visited Karachi too, they will tell you the difference.

Re: Men and their wandering eyes

I'm not familiar with any place outside of Karachi, so I can only speak of Karachi. My experiences there have been utterly horrible.

Re: Men and their wandering eyes

I am telling you the truth. Lahore is horrible than Karachi.

Re: Men and their wandering eyes

^ Yup. Bad experiences in Lahore :bummer:
