Some interesting outfits here! I wore a butterfly palu sari on my mehndi. My color scheme was orange & fuschia so my sari was orange with a fuschia palu and all the guests wore fuschia - it looked awesome!
I think its nice to move away from the conventional yellow/green scheme and try something different. The guests enjoyed participating in the scheme and the photos came out amazing!

i have a question- i want to do mehendi green, yellow, turqoise and red at my mehendi. i dont have any problems with a red and yellow outfit for the girls, and mine is the one from bargello- im sure you girls have seen it- the yellow-fading-to-dark-green crushed silk gharara with the red, yellow, blue dyed crushed silk dupatta? that will go with the girls.
but i was thinking, will mehendi green shalwar kameezes with turqoise dupatta/scarf type things look good on the guys? should it be mehendi green shirts with white shalwars? is that weird? what other colour/s could i do for them?

I think that mehndi green shalwar kameez with turqoise scarf will look quite odd on guys....I am just picturing guys in this outfit in my mind and it's not looking good!
Why don't you go for white shalwar kameez with muti color scarf (green, yellow n turqoise)...
