Mehndi/Mayyoun favors

Hi,

My elder sis is due to get wed In November this year & I wanted to do something different when it comes to giving the guests a little gift at the end of the menhdi.

I wa thinking of perhaps a small box with methi in there.. or maybe a bigger box with a mehndi cone and methi..

Any suggestions as to what else I could do? and where I could find the relavent things needed.. im from the UK..

Hi, you need to see how many guests u are inviting and what will be cost effective as mehndi cones etc can work out to be pricey etc. *I had small gold/yello favours with sweets in, which we handed out when the dances were about to start, so ppl had them whilst watching the dances and before food was about to be served. *

Silsila apologise for sounding a bit silly but what is Flavours? It does sounds really great do u have any pictures?

Any idea where I can get them made from.. I think we have about 200 guests attending the mehndi function

having mehndi cones etc will work out expensive, favours are cute bonxes matching ur decor with sweets in! google the word!

if u have 200 guets favours will be cheaper, but it depends on where u get them from.

Mehndi Gift bags

Any ides on what types of bags to use and what to put inside them?

Get some fancy fabric and make bags of them. Tie with pretty ribbon. If that is not feasible go for ordinary gift bags.

Fill with chooriyaan, mendhi cone/s, paan, supari and even little boxes of mithai.

Ambala do individual ladoos in a box for around 70p.

You can use net... and have the things in the net... tie with some ribbon.. glittery net in different colours looks lovely!

salaam :)
i'm getting married soon, and plan to give favors or goodies on my mehndi or mayyoun (the milaad will also be on the same day). only that i dont know what to put in and how to pack those little things so that it looks really lovely :)
kindly help me with this, post some pictures and bright ideas from all you girlies would be a great help :)
