i like the chooriyan as favors idea....however I was thinking...I have soo many chooriya in my house that I've worn...don't like etc....is it okay to just get a bunch of the "used" chooriyan and put it together and hand them out? or would people figure it out? and how many chooriyan in each bunch?

You can do 6-12 in a bunch, tie them together with a fancy ribbon, and no, I don't think anyone can tell if they are used or not.

Get all the chooriyaan together and mix them all up to make new sets. Tie them with ribbon or gota. Also bear in mind you may have to buy a few more sets for those who may have a smaller/larger wrist size.

I think you can also decorate a table with bangles instead of tying a few up. It’ll serve as decor and ladies can pick up colours whichever they want.
How about little ubtan packets or attar?

Somebody suggested on getting colourful dupattas made that can be worn with a pashmina suit and putting them in gift bags with pazaibs/ payals. I thought the idea was really nice and I am looking into it. Since Im here in Canada, instead of having those dupattas made, I'm thinking of why not just using pashminas? Or you could do pashmina shawls and matching chooriyan for all the girls as well! I havn't looked into it yet but if you do the research online, I'm sure we will be able to find some in bulk for a good price! I shall look around and get back to you! If anyone else finds some, please do get back to me too!
Mehndi /Wedding Favours!
Hey ladies! I was looking to give out unique party favours at my Mehndi and wanted to know if you guys had any unique ideas?? I have a few but I needed something a little more creative and cost effective. I was thinking about getting colour dupattas made that can be worn with anything and giving them out in gift bags along with payals/ pazaibs for all the girls. But it would be a little hassle to have the dupattas made so I was thinking of candy but just wondering if you guys can think of anything else for a mehndi?

Edibles are definitely a good idea.
I did mixed nuts as a favor for my engagement and they were a total hit..
u can buy cute net bags cheap ..then fill them wid any thing
rings,mehndi cone,bangles,sweets mithai..

Never heard that but love the idea of giving a pashmina to your wedding guests as a favour, it will keep them warm and complement your decor. Add a gorgeous printed paper band with a special message or ribbon with a note of gratuity.
But, the price would be an issue, though.

Thanks, unfortunately those mini gazebos arent going to available until late October or even November, and thats cutting it close! I guess I'll need to have another option set up. Still looking ...
