Re: Marrying a hyderbadi

Re: Marrying a hyderbadi

Meanwhile some where in UAE one hyderabadan cooked yummy hyderabadi biryani and dam ka ghosht yesterday.

Re: Marrying a hyderbadi

Its interesting because you find it rude…but I don’t.

In the same way…something you might find perfectly acceptable…might be rude or weird to someone else and vice versa.

The smiling smiley should be obvious but I’ll explain it anyway…me not even being hydro felt compelled to stand up for them. That’s how obnoxious this thread is. I found that funny.

Read proto’s post to your “friend”…a few times.

Re: Marrying a hyderbadi

you find obnoxious things funny?

Re: Marrying a hyderbadi

This is exactly what worries me. Don’t know if one truly accepts and gets acceptance.

Re: Marrying a hyderbadi

well said; at some level it also comes down to how you look at marriage.. is it between two families or two individuals? the individuals involved might think it is between them, but families still look at it as an association between two families…it will take a lot of courage and patience on part of the couple to handle such a marriage… if you already have some negative notions, it is better to avoid it.

Re: Marrying a hyderbadi

All I want to say is Kashmiris are higher…both in latitude and altitude.

Re: Marrying a hyderbadi

Anecdote of the thread that *literally *takes the cake:

Hydro family gulped down the whole cake without offering so much as sammiches to the guest who brought it! On top of that, poor Hydro aunty had a propensity of taking naps, leaving the guests to twiddle their thumbs!!! She must have had a hearty nap after enjoying the cake that was brought by the thoughtful guest. :rotfl:

Re: Marrying a hyderbadi

As a matter of fact, sometimes I do find them funny. Funnier when they’re meant to be obnoxious but end up sounding lame.

Any more questions?

Re: Marrying a hyderbadi

If this "Malabari " understood this, he would be bit peeved.

Re: Marrying a hyderbadi

lol no more questions but please feel to throw words like “funnier, obnoxious, and lame”. continue practicing this broken record technique of yours lol maybe GS will give you a degree or something.

p.s. I still value some of your input in every thread but honestly we all see you go non-stop in every thread and that my friend is lame and annoying, omg I know some words too.

Re: Marrying a hyderbadi

Lesson learnt from thread,

In a jar of achaar, Hyderabadis are lemo ka achaar. Subtle, khatta, and if you dare choose it you will be surprised by the many nuances.

While Punjabis are aam ka achaar, loud and proud, most popular variety, but what you see is what you get.

Re: Marrying a hyderbadi

Can we all just imagine that we are hugging each other or something? Lets end the argument over who is better, I don’t even know how it got there. We all have good and bad qualities. There are good and bad people in every ethnic group whether it be urdu speaking, punjabi or hyderabadis or any other group. Lets just focus on good qualities and not criticize each other. Thank you
