So quran recitation in namaz is just plain Arabic kay alfaz to you whether done knowing the meaning or not. and you have been appointed a judge to decide someone's namaz as uthak bethak and u sit inside someone's head to know he understood or not what he recited.
When people read namaz with no understanding, its uthak baithak buddy. I don't need to sit inside someone's head to understand that when a man can't respect a female and he prays 5 times a day..........he is just doing uthak baithak.

^Yaar, tell me something. If a man respects ALL women, but engages in other major gunnahs....does that reduce his namaz to mere up and down motions? Allah knows best whose namaz is just a series of movements and whose is more sincere. Call out the disrespect for disrespect...call it rigid-thinking....small-mindedness...stubbornness...prejudice....but the depth/level of iman is better known to Allah. It's not something that can be easily determined on an online forum.

I think in all the 24 pages of posts, everyone agreed that forcing anyone to have sex is wrong. The 24 pages only came through because no one could get their thoughts well written enough to not offend a single gsbody. And all the drama ensued because everyone would try to be politically correct and stumble and then after being shot back at by even one other poster everything went down the crapper. This is my analysis of this whole whole thread. Its like saying yes I agree with u but I refuse to accept Section 37B sub clause 86 of ur post and now ur going to hear it for the next 10 pages, till 10 other GS members jump in so that 15 other members can find 20,000 other things wrong in those 10 pages.
You know that team project u work on where everyone agrees on everything but then u have one team member pipe up about something, then everyone else agrees, but then there's is constantly any one member going against the grain. That's what produces 24 pages of posts with consensus but no consensus. Everyone agrees but someone still refuses to agree (on how to implement something, or in this thread's case, how to best get a point across without offending someone, and how sissy ur going to be at getting offended).
What I want is to start making bets on how many more pages we can add to this thread till everyone stops taking everything as "OH YEH YOU WANT TO TAKE THAT OUTSIDE!!!"
Agreed with modt of your points. But subclause 86 is a non-starter.

Interestingly enough despite reporting, nothing was done. So much for the promise of acting on reporting.

I thought judging someone's religious level and weather his namaaz are valid was not done. Especially here it is a no go area. It's something between ALLAH TALAH and that person.
Especially in the context here I don't see the link with judging someone's salaat validity. Now that is something that is totally uncalled for, and I don't see the usual 'don't judge-speakers' speaking out against it. Warna kisi ke short dress par bas ishara hi kar do, and you will be killed.
Furthermore, some women are overreacting majorly. Just stop acting as if women are some kind of special creatures who need special care and attention, more so than other living humans. I don't see anywhere in this thread where all women are being insulted and degraded.
On the one hand there are people who really mistreat women and think of them as lowlife creatures, and on the other extreme there are people who act as if women are helpless little babies jinko aap kuch nai kaho even if they are in the wrong.
Please come back into reality and stop being unnecessarily senstive.
This is exactly the reason why a lot of women are crazy in the head.
And no, I am not friends with Diwana, Iconoclast or any of the other male guppies and neither am I anti-woman.

@Pashtunwarrior just curious as to what your feelings would be if your daughter or sister were married to an abusive man who yelled at her swore at her, hit her and emotionally and psychologically abused her and at night demanded she performs her duties in bed as the angels will curse at her if she does not, and maybe this was an arranged marriage against her will and she is never able to love him and maybe the husband never makes an effort to win her heart as the religion has sanctioned his right to rape her over and over again. Would you defend her right t say no.
