WHAT DOES ISLAM SAY ABOUT MANGNI? KIYON NAHI HONI CHAHIYE? KYON NIKHA KO PREFER KARTAY HAIN? what are the bad effects of mangni. i am talking from experiance is liye poch rahi hoon ke loog mangni karke baad mai badal kyon daitay hain apna faisla?

In my opinion, Islam does not speak about everything, it only covers the essentials which are required to be done and required to be avoided. If anything is not included in this Do's and Dont's list, this is not of interest to Islam and be decided mutually or culturally.
Mangnee i think is not covered in the list above so it is upto you to decide. Haven't you ever changed any of your decisions in life?

i think i hve read an ayaat about mangni but the chapter name and ayaat i will recheck it and then post it.I m not sure ke is ka zikar hai yea nahi but i think i hve read in quran

because i am sure i heard it somewhere that there is something about mangni not being appreciated in islam. i want to know why. and i heard just doing nikah is more acceptable. i want to know why as well.

well nikkah is like an official bond in islam it gives a man n a women a married status which is accetable in islam and both of u bcome mehram 4 eachother while in mangni its just a bond which we have created for say announsment of a commitment....fiance's are not mehram....i hope u get my point?

Opinion of a scholar has nothing to do with Islam. I think Islam is not bothered you do a mangnee or not. You can not compare Nikah with Mangnee as they are different steps in a ladder.
Why Mangnees are broken and why kept is a problem for which a sociologist is better poised to answer. I think this is a wrong forum to shoot this question.

If I remember correctly, it was Surah Baqarah where the term Khitbat un Nissa is used and it is very much synonyms to MANGNI
