Your statement "liberals can be religious and vice oversaw" shows lack of understanding of what a true liberal is. A true liberal 1) is religious or not 2) believes in freedom to practise faith ( I am against rule in France re hijab) 3) believes in equality for ALL 4) separation of religion from govt 5) women's rights 6) workers rights 7) fair pay and healthcare 8) Environmental sustainability.
This definition off top of my head. One does not need to google to get right definition.

This doesn't prove that religious minded can't be liberals. Liberals are not only representatives of humanity. Our prophet was our religious leader and he proved himself biggest representative of human rights. He was supporter of almost all the agendas you listed in your post to be liberal.
Human rights representation is not the whole and sole jurisdiction of those liberals, who can't condemn mass killings because of unknown reasons known to them

I can only speak for myself and the liberals I listed earlier ( and those who are of similar philosophy).
As for in this forum the folks who were in favor of drone attacks can speak for themselves. I believe they felt not enough was done by Pak govt to address the terror issue. My opinion is when such attacks are made it pits janta. against the drone attacks. Thus not making progress.

Read point 1. I have stated liberals can be religious or not religious. So yes religious people SURELY CAN BE LIBERALS. As for the Prophet, I have no doubt he was liberal. And that is my point.

This is actually a dishonest interpretation - and I am bring kind. You can find video link for Jeremy Skegal voicing his opinion against wisdom of drone attacks.

why should our media and so called human rights representative political parties talk about those religious students? Will that make their lords happy? no. Their voices are raised when uncle SAM funds them for that issue to get its agenda fulfilled.
At times uncle SAM was funding religious groups to disintegrate its rival USSR and now the agenda is something else and religious minded people are biggest hindrance to fulfill such agenda.

I marvel at your lack of curiosity. When I stated liberals I was NOT referring to just this forum. Provided you some examples of folks in the West who were against drone attack. But you don't care to know such personsxexist.
And that in a nutshell isthe difference between a liberal and conservative. The former welcomes information and modifies his views based on new information. A conservative is happy to wallow in despising the other side ( the West in this case I think) and rejects information presented to him.
Got one more news for you - this forum ain't no microcosm of the world.
