my rukhsati dress is also from pk.

Other than that, i was holding on to Kaniz.
But she is not that good with replying and keeping in contact
But when you speak to her she is friendly, but as mentioned not so professional with staying in touch and replying.

How much does Dil matharu charge ?
And has anyone seen his real brides ?

kaniz is quite good! but yeah i guess because theyre so busy they dont get to reply that quick. try w w w . sanaali . co. uk she also worked for MAC and shes really good at bridal make up, ive seen 2 brides she done n they were stunning x x

reality check, dil matharu doesnt have real brides on his website yet, but i think it's coming soon. he chrges £385 for full bridal and £50-85 for the trial

Hi everyone this is my first post. Ive read all the previous ones ref to MUA's. I was wondering if any one has had any experience with Kinnari Flair based in hemel hempstead ?

and can anyone recommend a very good MUA in London. Im trying to find one long distance and have to book before i go in for a trial apparently to secure the date?

i havent had a trial. since i am not in the uk, so i paid the deposit to secure my date, and will go in for a trial just prior to my wedding.

if you read through this thread you will find many good names

Guess we're in the same boat. They all want you to book first and then come in for a trial. How many can you book!! Ive booked with someone but not from the threads listed.

Anyone know if Shanaz Yaqub or eleganceby ketna are any good?

Seems Syed emailed back but her trial didnt seem appealing. She said she would come to my home put makeup on one side of my face and a different look on the other and then i would have to choose. And she wouldn't do a full hairdo either.

Not looking for a traditional or caked up look either

Guess I'll have to take my chances when I get there and go for a few trials hoping the one i like is available. Im going a month before my wedding.

All you UK girls how far in advance do you need to book a MUA to secure a date?

Just thought I'd share this with everyone....

Well I finally booked with Dil. I was going to go with Gini Boghal but she was booked and referred me to Dil. There work is pretty similar so I heard. He's pricey but apparently highly recommended by her and from the above threads ive read.

We'll see in July when I have my trial!

reality check, i'm going for my trial, next week with her so i'll let u know how it goes, ashes you booked with dil matharu right? i wanted him but he was booked, I used to go to him when he worked at Mac cheeky I know and it was half the price! also its a busy weekend! i know muas are expensive but they charge that much because they know there're good, and in demand for me i'd think hang on why is this person so cheap? maybe they've just started or somthing or not got alot of expericance

He's charging more than Gini. Some one in this thread said he charges 385 for the wedding day and 50-80 for trial and was posted beginning of March. He's charging me more than that!

Gini Also recommended two other makeup artists. She said they were trained by her and are very good.....

But I decided to just go with Dil. Good Luck hope it goes well. Let me know.

ashes I will do who were the other two artists trained by her? I thought she worked alone? I duno when i was looking it was eye makeup I was after hers just never stood out, thanks for the well wishes x

rubywoo the other two MUA's dont work with her apparently they were trained by her? i dont know. but there names are

they both charge as much as dil almost. cant post websites yet. harvey dont like the eyes he does. marlene is white but does asian makeup as well she said to buy the viya magazine as all the makeup in the mag was done by her. her website doesnt have anything. i dont know where to buy the viya. dil does the best eye's i think.

hey my fellow guppans, i've booked Dil Matharu for my wedding next year in April hes *definitely * the best, I loved his work from my own sisters wedding last year he really bought out her eyes but it looked so nice also he contors your face I dont know how but you cant see any lines its so natural i'm going down to see him in august for a trial, when my sample for my kaam comes through his website doesnt do him justice.

just to let you all know I had my big day 2 weeks ago and Dil Matharu did a great job of my hair and make-up, he really listened to exactly what I wanted. the make up was natural but enhancing and the hair style was lovely. So I highly recommend him to you all!!

Anyway good luck with your weddings.

Im hoping to find a make up artist who isnt going to charge £950! Basically I live up north close to Newcastle and most well known artists are charging alot more due to travel expenses. So please can anyone recommend someone who is closer and just as good naveeda, dil matharu etc etc..
