hi ii live in england the city of leeds i am bascially from pakistan and i am lookign for a artist who can do exactly like paksitani bride makeup but i cant find any in leeds so i wanted to know any one know any beautician who does really good bride makeup and come down to leeds
i saw some of my cousin pic who got their makeup done from paksitan(karachi) and it was soo cool i really want those kinda of makeup to be done on my wedding
would be bice if someone help me out

It would be better if they showed pictures of real brides makeup instead of models. There are not that many pictures that show real brides makeup.

recently i had my make up done in manchester(rusholme, wilmslow road) from a make up artist called sabiha.
Her work is absolutley brilliant. she has trained in pak too , so she does it really well. i dont know if she travels but no harm in asking.
also if you pick up a asian woman magazine there are loads of make up artists who have adverts in them along with examples of their work.

p.s i knw how fustrating it can be, as im having weddin in pak and i couldnt find a good make up artist over there. but i am now booked in with depelix so inshallah she best do a good job or else :)

Get hold of a copy of Asian Bride and look at the directory and advert features in there which should give you a good idea of what’s available. Although living in Leeds, you could probably make enquiries through word of mouth too as you have a large asian population there anyway.
I had trials with Naveeda and Nina Haider and while they were okay, the make up I had done in Pak at Meelees was much better. Which is weird cos I always assumed the pak make up artists would make me look like a clown:hehe:

does anyone know any good make artist in the UK who does pakistani style makeup ie like Madeeha’s, Ather Shahzad and AlleNora diplex. my cousin who is getting married in aug is in a desparate state 
. every make up artist she has been to have not been very pakistani style and they all made her look darker . PLEASE HELP thank you.

Where in the UK r u? It depends on where u r. If u read that old thread abt flying a make up artist in from pakistan theres loads of different make up artists from London who r in that thread. I used one called Fariha but shes based in London.
Some1 wrote a thread on here recently that they'd done their training from Ather Shehzad. Have a look on the threads under wedding and im sure its there.
If ur in Manchester my friend who had her Valima there got her make up done by Rehana who is very popular in manchester and i think she trained from either Ather Shezad or Madeehas. It depends on where u r but check out those threads.

Well i was very happy cos i wanted a pakistani look on the wedding day and she did what i wanted. My friends have all wanted her for their wedding but shes always booked up so a lot of them went to Naveeda who i think is also ok.

I dont think Fariha has a website....when she used to advertise in Asian Bride/Asiana Wedding she just had her phone number. I dont think she even advertises anymore cos shes been so popular over the last 7-8 yrs that she gets permenant recommendations.
I dont think Rehana has a website but when i post my wedding pics, i'll post my friends pics as well and u can see her make up. It was amazing.

They ended up going with either Naveeda or Saira Hussain. Saira Hussain does good make up BUT shes really unreliable and is always late and double books ppl and allsorts. Ive heard sum real horror stories abt her.
My friend had her Valima in Machester so she went with Rehana who apparently is popular in that part of the country. She looked incredible. In London for her wedding she had it done by Saira Hussain but it was really rushed cos she'd double booked brides.

i'm getting mine done from Sajna's in Tooting London........
her make up is to DIE for..........she did my engagement and WOW.....u dont even need to explain to her....she'll jus look at u and do it..........i go there every month alll the way from Manchester...its jus too good......i had my bridal facial dun like 3 weeks ago and still my face is glowing........there amazing...and the service is soooooooooooooooooo gooood...i don have words
