We are looking for a rishta for my sister who is 29 masha allah but she is against signing up on matromonial websites etc and we as a family are not keen either. If there is a service in UK where we as the family can search rishtas for her i.e. introduce with other families and do all the chaan been e.g. family background, employment status etc and then introduce the two would be good. ^ Some of the larger mosques in the UK offer these sorts of services, I know Birmingham defo does (there was a documentary on tv about it the other day) and I think East London Mosque does as well. Don't think it is limited to just hijabi women either so ideal for those who are a little more relaxed as well as those more orthodox Muslims :)
