Living in USA

Re: Living in USA

peace meray bhai.....peace.

yes....if we were only this particular about reducing things to the lowest common denominator then we would not be where we are today.....

and why are we becoming so technical here......to me inappropriate priority is equal to and/or leads to shirk. why even tread close to that path?

Re: Living in USA

I don't know about you but my faith tells me that there is only one Allah.......and yes, they have made fun of Allah as God.

side note please clarify who you are referring to as "they".....I've assumed non-Muslims/Americans

Re: Living in USA

14 pages! Can we make it to 20? :D

Re: Living in USA

Dudes and Dudets, regardless of the love that we have for Prophet :saw2:, cant we live without protest? Forget about US ambassador, in Karachi, 10 people got killed, dozens of motorcycles, cinema halls and other properties were put on fire. Where is the love of prophet in this people?

And please, dont give me lectures on peaceful protest. we Muslims dont know the meaning of that.

Re: Living in USA

jaldi say koi muhje iska matlab bata'o please....warna main bhi kuch cinemas jala doon???

:D

Re: Living in USA

aap kee is baat se movie goers mushta'el ho jaa'ain ge.

Re: Living in USA

Non-Muslims. I am not specific about Americans here.

My faith is also that Allah is undoubtedly, ONLY ONE! but gods are so many and the point of Tauheed also arose because of knowing that there will be people OR communities who will worship other gods and not Allah, and Kalma-e-Tayyab is given to differentiate between those who believe in the existance of One Allah and Akhiri Rasool, Mohammad PBUH. If it was obvious that people would worship only one god that is ALLAH, then there would have been NO concept of Kalima-e-Tayyab, religions or other disputes in regard of that!

I am sorry TLK, but Allah na karay agar apka apna koi azeez hurt ho, physically or mentally, aap chup rahenge kiya? I know, you would not Kill the other party but atleast would raise your point for sure.
Likewise, the steps that Muslims took, were entirely wrong but you can’t expect everyone to react like you! There must be wise people like you who must have stayed in their houses and protested and some illitrate who were the cause of killings and lootings! which is entirely wrong, but you can not say that let america be stay out of it! Ata pista hay to ghuun bhi saath main pista hay!

Re: Living in USA

tempted!

Re: Living in USA

thanks queenie!

so in reply to your original post with this word......
if we were practising our religion we would not be tempted. period. baat khatam.
will we be able to use the excuse that we committed sins because the devil tempted us and therefore our sins are the fault of the devil? certainly not.

Re: Living in USA

that’s not “tempted”… :scratchingheadwalasmiley:

seedhi tarah bat’o na…

Re: Living in USA

Did I not already mention the same view in my previous 3 posts?? I have been saying the same thing too!! The steps taken were entirely wrong but it doesnt snatch our right to protest and to keep USA out of it! Some of the people are being stiff here about their opinions. If I can understand what you and other members are coming from, I wonder, why dont other members understand what we are trying to deliver!

Re: Living in USA

if you’ve been saying the same thing then I’ve missed it entirely…sorry.

:scratchingheadharderwalasmiley:

Re: Living in USA

Mushta’el means Ishte’aal main aa jaana, Ghussa (extreme kind)

Re: Living in USA

good you got it now :hehe:

Re: Living in USA

My bad, sorry :k:

Re: Living in USA

yeah…that’s not “tempted”…

no worries.

Re: Living in USA

Huh...I thought mushtael meant "provoked"?

Re: Living in USA

lets start debate over what Mushtael is :hmmm:
c`mon, whatever it is since you get it!
look, people are starting here to make feel down for I couldn’t tell them the exact meaning of Mushtael, is it not shameful, being mother tongue urdu, people dont know URDU words! Huh! :disgust:

Re: Living in USA

yes…it is shameful…I am ashamed that I left Pakistan when I was 2 years old and I cannot understand what “mushtael” means…

how do you feel about not being able to explain the meaning accurately when you are actually using the word and have lived in the country for most of your life?

j/k – not meant to hurt you.

Re: Living in USA
