She is a total b****. Just visit her blog. You will find many provocative pictures. She openly supports ban on burqa. One can still accommodate her for expressing her views. But she has crossed all limits. You will find the picture of a stark naked woman showing her things while clad in a burqa. Do you call that liberalism or extreme provocation?
She, that so-called scientist hoodbhoy and a couple others are so-called leftist but actually fascists and definitely on the payroll of someone. It is OK to debate about things but they have taken it to another degree where they are truly exposed.
By reading your post I can understand yr concerned for Pakistan and its Islamic identity. But don’t you know that we are the nation that generates largest number of searches for 'Sex' on Google. Don’t you feel that from Islamist we have turned into hypocrites who has little or no respect for our own religion. We hv defamed Islam more than any Karfir can. Problems with us is that we offer more respect to an uneducated Malvi than an intellectual scientist or journalist. For us whosoever speaks practicality is either a traitor or a Kafir. We have ceased to listen truth of modern day world and are happy to hear old feeble of glorious days of Islam. We hv to admit that there are various fault lines in our society that needed urgent attention. Religion can never be panacea for all the evils. Modern issues needed modern remedies that are available only in the West at present time. They are superiors to us because instead of finding answers from scriptures they have used science and technology, where we are lacking the most.

By reading your post I can understand yr concerned for Pakistan and its Islamic identity. But don’t you know that we are the nation that generates largest number of searches for 'Sex' on Google. Please read my statement carefully: I said anyone who “prefers” not “lives”…Any Pakistani, who** prefers **to live in western secular democratic society but does not want the same system in Pakistan is a Munafiq to the core.
If those Indians “prefer”, yes, they are in the same boat. They will loose their Indian citizenship and they should not propagate secularism in Saudi and should not create fuss on giving up their freedom to read non islamic books in Saudi. Nor should they criticise Secularism if they come to India on a visitor visa.

What about the statistics of children of south asian expatriates living in gulf? 99% of them land in United States, UK or any western country or go back to their home country.

I have to give you my Indian perspective on a couple of things you have said (not about purda issue)
2nation theory may have started on the principle that Hindus and MUslims should have separate countries - but it did not work. lot of Muslims would not or could not move out; and even Pakistan ended up splitting up which to me is proof that just because a country is ‘muslim’ country doesn’t mean they won’t fight and split on other grounds.

Most importantly, accepted historical works and physical evidence that exists todate show that during the Muslim rule of large parts of India, atrocities such as demolition of Hindu temples occurred - not perhaps to the same degree in every king’s reign but certainly in scale. If that was the way the native people were treated, wouldn’t you expect some backlash..atleast for some time until woulds heal? rather than blaming the british (not that they did not practice divide and rule!) I think human tendency is to develop a hatred towards the religion in which’s name the temples were destroyed. No different from how even after 10 years of 9/11, some Americans distrust all Muslims because the 9/11 was perpetrated by people claiming to be Muslims
Finally, the Indian view in general about Kashmir is that but for Pakistan’s interference and tactics, Kashmir would never have become a problem necessitating heavy handed army presence.

Well I guess Sirmed would be happy when all the pakistani women become "empowered" like "independant" women in the west which essentially means having slept with at least dozens of guys (shows she can chose), produced a bunch of children with different colors with different fathers (shows she is empowered enough to sleep with whoever she wants), wears inviting vulgar clothes (empowerment to show her feminine beauty).
On the other hand, I do agree that a significant number of pakistanis treat women as commodities. Nevertheless, there is absolutely no justification to use this to spread vulgarity and western values in our society.
