Its heard to get the pronounciation right but the Staa for Kia has more of a sibilant sound. Like a snake ssss
While the Sta for your is a quick sound made like exhaling air... sta like you shoot the word from your mouth. Staa like saying it slower sssttttaaa :)
Yes very simmilar to Farsi. Pashto is a polyglot language that is made up of bits of other languages as well like Urdu in some respects.

We had a friend in college from Pindi and they used to speak Potohari in their home. Someone told us (may be joke) that there are many English words used in Potohari, like for ‘ooper aao’ it was something like ‘Up aao’.
I am not fammialiar with that situation but I imagine people coming to Mirpur and Potowar from England and America must have bought back these interesting hybrid terms.
