Re: Lets learn local languages
Punjabi, Sindhi, Balochi, Pashto, etc.
Basic introductory sentences (Wahts your name? How are you? Where are you from?, etc) and name of common things (fruits, vegetable and other kitchen items), counting (ginti), etc.
Starting: What's your name?
In Sindhi : Tuhinjo naalo chhaa aahay?
Looks similar to marathi "Tujha naav kaye aahey?
Re: Lets learn local languages
so da= ooper in Pashto, and whats the word for neechay in Pashto. We have 'Haith' for neechay in Sindhi
Re: Lets learn local languages

Naav = Naalo (name) are interchangeable in Sindhi.
It is interesting to read somewhere that in Sindhi we have word 'Budh' for listen and man traveling to Hazara & Kashmir, heard some locals calling the other with similar words 'Budh'.
Re: Lets learn local languages
In pashto the word for down is Ksette. Pronounced K-sethhe, a bit like our Urdu speakers saying the word cassete in english.
