Bacha (Tendulkar) is better than any other cricket player in cricket techniques, but he is out of form now a days that is the only reason Lara has stolen his credit

True. But there is a difference and that is how he took advantage of a drop catch and miss stumping. Not everyone or most of the so called bastmen would turn it to 196 or maybe 200+?
Plus yesterday his shot slection was awesome. I am not sure if you get a chance to watch his batting but it was worth sitting all night long. Specially the way he belted Kanria over the boundary.

Why am I not surprised that it was these two again! combined these two probably have caused us at least 1 test match worth of wickets! Akmals keeping mysteriously has deterioted! he was excellent before!

Honestly Kaneria hasn't been a threatening/strike bowler for some time (of late), so swatting the struggling bowlers on an easy pitch (according to his own words after Pakistani inning, day 1) after few fielding support shouldn't prompt us to regard him as the greatest. I agree that he is one of the cricketing giants of all time. Even Younis Khan sometimes scores 200+ (with/without field support) :D

(I agree that) of the current batch only Tendulkar and Dravid (and very distant Inzy) only come close as being as exciting to watch as Lara (in Test matches)....however, they are a distant second and third.
Seeing bulldozers like Hayden, Ponting, Peterson just is not exciting....they don't have any flair...just brute force. I'd rather see exquisite timing, wristy shots, placement and charisma!

perhaps on current form, but he at least needs to perform another 3/4 years at this level (not necessarily continuous, but in total he needs another 3/4 seasons like these) to be considered in the greats of this era

Ehsan bhai, misstumping chance was against Bravo not Lara and that half chance to Imran Farhat was quarter a chance in comparison to what we did against Sehwag when he was dropped with three straight forward chances.
Nescio: Dravid is never half as exciting as Lara can be. Sachin is closer than him but still miles behind when it comes to pure domination of any sort of bowling consistently with big hundreds.
